Philadelphia Flyers Steve Mason unveils zombie Ben Franklin mask

Philadelphia Flyers new goalie Steve Mason is an avowed horror fan, and his masks typically show that. He's previously rocked ghouls and stitched-up skulls on his head when blocking those flying pucks, but now that he is in Philly, he's feeling undead and patriotic.

In the new video below, courtesy CBS Sports and NHL Network Online, fans are treated to Mason's new orange-and-black Flyers helmet that sports a Zombie Ben Franklin, Zombie George Washington and Zombie Betsy Ross (who appears to have stitched a fleshy Flyers logo to the top of the helmet).

Franny Drummond, the artist with Paintzoo Studios who works on Mason's helmets, said the process will take about a week to finish, so hopefully we'll see those undead images on the ice real soon.
