The TAPS paranormal investigative team was formed in 1990 and have employed gadgets and a scientific method to explore, debunk and validate claims of activity ever since. The show, which airs Wednesday nights at 9 p.m., debuted in 2004 and typically attracts close to three million viewers each week. It's also spawned a spinoff, Ghost Hunters International and Ghost Hunters Academy.
The group first investigated the "Fort That Saved America" for a 2008 episode, and Ghost Hunters Academy returned in 2009 for the inaugural episode.

In the century that it has been operating, The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO., has hosted many famous faces and countless guests – some of whom have refused to check out after their deaths according to paranormal investigators. On June 14, beginning at 10 p.m., MDT, Grant Wilson and Jason Hawes of Syfy’s “Ghost Hunters” and co-founders of The Atlantic Paranormal Society(TAPS) , will return to the Stanley to seek spirits in a live blogging Beyond Reality event.
Along with Wilson and Hawes will be fellow TAPS team members Kris Williams, Amy Bruni and Britt Griffith.
Join me, Aaron Sagers – Paranormal Pop Culture expert and historian - as your moderator and host as I wander the supposedly haunted halls of the hotel that inspired Stephen King’s “The Shining.” I will be taking questions for the TAPS team, posting videos, reporting claims of activity, holding polls and putting you right in the middle of the action! And hopefully, you’ll even be able to help us catch a ghost from your home by examining evidence with me.
