'American Horror Story' Season 3 gets witchy

American Horror Story: Coven

As you can see in the video embedded above, Murphy was joined by other cast members, who not only discussed Season Two, but hinted at what the next season will bring. Entertainment Weekly reported that a surprise moment occurred when Season Three star Kathy Bates joined the panel and Murphy "vaguely teased her cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs" character.

Murphy also said Coven has been "a really cool story we’ve been talking about for a couple of years." In a quote that hints at scenes involving Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates going at it, it appears that "female power" will dominate the season. New Orleans will be a shooting location, so will voodoo be included too?

We’re happy to hear that there will be a "signature, iconic monster" just like the first two seasons. We wonder what kind of evil Murphy is conjuring up in that brain of his? The subtitle Coven clearly makes us think that there will be a witch theme ... or does it?
