Hell Baby is coming! The co-directorial debut from Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant (MTV’s The State, Reno 911), will become available on a limited number of digital download (iTunes) and on-demand services beginning July 25. Following these limited releases, the movie will receive an expanded VOD and limited theatrical release on Sept. 6.
Hell Baby is a horror-comedy about expectant couple Jack (Rob Corddry) and Vanessa (Leslie Bibb) moving into their New Orleans fixer-upper home; which happens to be the notoriously haunted Maison de Sang, or House of Blood. As expected, things begin to go south and straight to Hell when Vanessa appears to be possessed by a demon. When enlisting the help from friends, family and neighbors proves pointless, a team of exorcist experts (Lennon and Garant) are sent from the Vatican to save them, but will they make it in time?
With many winks and nods to classic horror films, Thomas and Garant know their stuff while also providing an abundance of laughs, without being overly cheesy.
