Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" has just become available and it's pretty ominous. Directed by Matt Reeves ("Let Me In") and starring Gary Oldman as the leader of a group of virus-surviving humans, this follow-up to 2011's "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" also has Andy Serkis reprising his role as the genetically-evolved leader of the apes, "Caesar." The film arrives in theaters next July.
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.
