Norman Reedus Will Star in Newest 'Silent Hill' Video Game

It looks like there's going to be a new resident of Silent Hill and his name is Norman. Announced today by Sony at the Gamescom conference in Cologne, Germany, the new installment in the video game franchise will be co-developed by Guillermo del Toro and “Metal Gear Solid” creator Hideo Kojima. According to Variety, "The Walking Dead" fan fav, Norman Reedus, will star as a key character in the horror video game to which he'll provide his voice and likeness.

The project was initially and unusually announced and Variety reports that, "...a long teaser was made available for download on the PlayStation Store under the name 'P.T.' After an hour and 16 minutes, a man is shown walking down a dark street. When he turns, it’s Reedus in character, and Kojima and Del Toro’s names appear before the 'Silent Hill' logo is revealed. The image of Reedus above is from the game."
