Weird Al's Emmy Performance Gave New Life to Popular TV Theme Songs, Including 'Game of Thrones'

Type faster!
HBO's "Game of Thrones" had a ton of Emmy nominations (59 to be exact) this year but one of the statues was not given to Peter Dinklage for his portrayal of Tyrion Lannister. So, boo. But big congrats to Aaron Paul ("Breaking Bad") for that win in the 'Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series' category.

So anyway, Weird Al made an interesting appearance and put his spin on the theme songs of some of the top shows this year. Included in the performance were parodies of "Mad Men," "Modern Family," "Scandal" and "Homeland." Of and of course..."Game of Thrones." You can check out that performance below and if you would like, jump to minute 1:38 for the start of the "Game of Thrones" segment which features SNL alum, Andy Sandberg as King Joffrey. During the GoT song, he encouraged author, George R.R. Martin to speed up his typing so they could get more scripts. See above for the fun gif of that command, compliments of The Huffington Post.
