Directed by make-up effects guru (and co-executive producer) Greg Nicotero, the series will be titled "Cold Storage" and focus on new characters, such as one played by Daniel Roebuck (Lost, Grimm).
Says AMC, the webisodes tell the story of Chase (Josh Stewart), a young man trying to get to his sister at the beginning of the zombie apocalypse. "He finds temporary shelter in a storage facility run by a former employee named B.J. (Roebuck); however, things are not what they appear."
