Did Bruce Campbell Confirm 'Army Of Darkness 2'? Probably Not

It’s been talked about for years. Would it happen? Whether it will or won’t, there’s no denying that fans want nothing more than to see Ash strap on his chainsaw, grab his boomstick and battle the Deadites in medieval times on more time.

Well, over the weekend at Wizard World Nashville Comic Con, our own Aaron Sagers hosted a talk with the grooviest chin Bruce Campbell. When asked by a fan about a sequel, Campbell told a room full of geeks:

"The last one was 22 years ago. I just haven’t been racing to do it. Sam Raimi is just a little bit busy making the biggest movies in Hollywood. I used to be busy. Now I’m not. That’s why I’m here… Ash would have to stop occasionally from chasing some Deadite to catch his breath. Maybe we could do that, I guess. That would be exciting. Fight in a walker. That would be all right. Hit them with my cane. Fake them out, have a fake heart attack, distract a zombie. I like it.”

Since he was on site, Sagers said that Campbell was joking and not at all confirming anything. However, he did say he was developing a new show with USA, but that it wasn't a spin-off of "Burn Notice," which just concluded.
