'Nosferatu' Heads To Blu-ray

Before "Twilight," vampires were actually considered frightening, ugly monsters. Somewhere along the lines, we lost sight of that and they became the epitome of all love stories, but soon we will remember.

Kino Classics will be releasing a 2-disc edition on Blu-ray of the vampire classic, F.W. Murnau’s Nosferatu, completely restored in HD from the original 25mm print. Not only that, but the film will contain Hans Erdmann’s original 1922 score, presented in either DTS-HD 5.1 or 2.0 Stereo.

Disc One will feature the film with English intertitles, while Disc Two will feature German intertitles with option English subtitles. You’ll also get a 52 minute documentary on the making of "Nosferatu" called "The Language of Shadows," an image gallery, as well as excerpts from other Murnau films.

Look for this amazing classic on November 19 on Blu-ray ($39.95) or DVD ($29.95).
