A live action drama series based on DC Comic's "Constantine" is becoming a reality. NBC has ordered the pilot that's being written by Daniel Cerone ("Dexter"), who is also serving as executive producer alongside "DaVinci's Demons" show runner, David Goyer. Goyer is not new to DC Comics, he worked on the screenplays for "Man of Steel," "The Dark Knight Rises," "The Dark Knight" and "Batman Begins."

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that NBC first picked up the Warner Bros. TV drama "with a script plus penalty commitment in September." THR goes on to describe "Constantine" as, "Based on the 'Hellblazer' graphic novels, the 'Constantine' series centers on master of the occult John Constantine, who is struggling with his faith as he is haunted by the sins of his past but is suddenly thrust into the role of defending humanity from the gathering forces of darkness."

We'll keep you posted on when you could tune in.
