Scott will be working with his Gladiator screenwriter John Logan for the adaptation, but a quick trip to IMDB shows that the director has a pretty busy schedule so there's no telling when this will actually come out. Oh, and if the book sucks (in a bad way), that probably won't help, either. Although Fox 2000 must have high hopes since they shelled out seven figures for the film rights to the upcoming series.
