Founding fathers of the living dead

Do you recognize these men? How about now?

If you still say no, you don't know your zombie pioneers very well. This is John Russo and George Kosana, the co-writer and production manager, respectively, on 1968's Night of the Living Dead. Along with George A. Romero, they created the most famous zombie flick of all time, and also managed to fit in time to play a walking corpse and Sheriff McClelland.

The duo were snapped by Twitter user UltimaSandraDee in Pittsburgh last week at a zombie fest.
