'Walking Dead' game gets 'Collector's Edition'

Worried about having enough zombies represented at Christmas? Good news! Just in time for your holiday gift giving, Telltale games is releasing its The Walking Dead adventure game in North American retail stores Dec. 4.

According to Newsarama, "The standard retail edition will run $29.99 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, a premium of $5 over the complete digital edition."

Die-hard fans of the game will be thrilled to hear that GameStop will be offering an exclusive Collector's Edition of the game that retails for $69.99. This special set includes not only the game, but "a special edition The Walking Dead Compendium One" with a new cover by longtime series artist Charlie Adlard. The compendium book includes issues 1-48 of the original comic book series, offering over 1,000 pages of story to zombie fans, and usually retails for $59.99.

Nothing says Happy Holidays like a gift that may help prepare you for that inevitable zombie apocalypse, right?
