Josh Gates returns to 'Ghost Hunters' tonight

Although it doesn't look like his show Destination Truth is going to be coming back, Josh Gates fans will be thrilled to learn the monster hunter and adventurer is heading back to an investigation with tonight's episode of Ghost Hunters.

Titled "Ghost Mission" - not to be confused with Syfy's show Ghost Mine (lots of ghosts in titles these days - the team visits the San Juan Capistrano Mission in California, which the Syfy site says is "supposedly haunted by a parishioner's daughter who was carrying on a forbidden love affair."

If this isn't enough to satisfy your Gates craving, remember that his show Stranded is set to premiere Feb. 27 at 10 p.m. Produced by Gates (who also serves as showrunner) and Ping Pong Productions (Destination Truth, Finding Bigfoot), the show follows teams of three dropped into famously haunted locales. The teams' experiences will be documented with handheld cameras and stationary cams to create a blend of a POV and docudrama.
