'The Romanov Cross' paranormal thriller arrives in March

Coming March 5, Random House, Inc. brings fans of the paranormal an acclaimed new novel that blends the supernatural and history. The Romanov Cross by Robert Masello, revisits "the rise of Rasputin, the downfall of the Romanov family, and the mystery shrouding the fate of Anastasia."

Masello is no stranger to supernatural thrillers and has worked on television shows such as Charmed.

A description of the book reads:
When a body from a colony wiped out by the 1918 Spanish Flu turns up off the coast of a small Alaskan town Army epidemiologist Frank Slater and his team are called in to investigate. It is their task to determine if the deadly virus has once again surfaced and to keep it from wiping out millions. But there are ghosts on the island other than the Spanish Flu, ones Frank and his team find themselves confronting, face to face.
