'The Conjuring' trailer hits

Farmiga as Lorraine Warren
The first trailer for this summer’s film based on "true paranormal events," The Conjuring is out and you must see it. We promise, you’ll think twice about ever playing hide and seek with your children ever again.

Directed by James Wan (Insidious) the film stars Patrick Wilson (Insidious, Watchmen) and Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air, Orphan) as famous investigating team Ed and Lorraine Warren, as well as Ron Livingston (Office Space) and Lili Taylor (The Haunting)  as a couple whose farmhouse clearly has some uninvited and mischievous guests.

As Aaron Sagers wrote on the Travel Channel site in his 2013 Paranormal preview:
Whether they love or loathe them, any good paranormal researcher knows the work of investigators/demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren. Most famous for their involvement with cases like “The Amityville Horror” house, the Smurl haunting, the Snedeker “Haunting in Connecticut” and the Demon Murder Trial ... the ’70s-set film occurs before the couple became famous for Amityville, and focuses on the “true story” of the Perron family of Rhode Island. Ed and Lorraine are played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, who actually visited the Warren home to examine their haunted objects collection. Opening at the height of summer blockbusters, there are a lot of expectations placed on the movie, and other paranormal investigators are sure to have much to say about it.
Check out the trailer and let us know how excited you are for this July 19 release.
