Based on a new teaser trailer for the sixth season of True Blood, which returns June 16 at 9 p.m., things are getting bloody between humans and vampires.
As a bottle of Tru Blood falls in slow-motion and eventually shatters, we hear a series of news reports along with sounbites from Bill, Jason and Jessica, along with a voice I can't pinpoint who promises it's "time for humans to bite back" and that blood must sometimes be shed to protect others.
If you'll remember, Bill became a deity last season after drinking Lilith's blood, and the humans were prepping for all-out war with the vamps after Tru Blood factories were destroyed (thus creating a food shortage). And if the promo holds to its promise, this season, "blood will spill" -- but will more of it come from humans or fangers?
