The third season revolves around witches and a witch hunt and features perennial cast members: Jessica Lange; Sarah Paulson; Evan Peters; Frances Conroy; and, Lily Rabe. Also returning will be Taissa Farmiga who played "Violet Harmon" in the first season.
Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Emma Roberts and Patti Lupone have also been cast.
Denis O'Hare starred as "Larry Harvey" in the debut season of the series but no details are available on his Coven character.
The show will air from October 2013 to January 2014.
