In a press release issued today, TNT has ordered a fourth season of Falling Skies. The alien apocalypse show, which we recap here, is produced by DreamWorks Television and executive producer Steven Spielberg and starring Noah Wyle.
Currently airing Sundays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), the show is averaging 5.8 million viewers and ranks as basic cable's number one scripted series with adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the summer-to-date.
TNT plans to launch the 10-episode fourth season in summer 2014.
