Who said only humans can partake in the zombie craze? Well if you’re a Hoosier, or even if you’re not, get ready for the Arfpocalypse!
History is being made on October 27 when the Hoosier Lottery and local radio station Q95 host a “celebration of music, mutts and mayhem” at the Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville, IN.
The Arfpocalypse: Zombie Dog Fest is offering food, a concert from Here Come the Mummies, and the opportunity to adopt from one of the various animal shelters that will be on hand. They are also out to set the world record for most dogs in costumed attire. It doesn’t have to be a zombie costume but it would be pretty awesome if your pup looked like he or she preferred brainz to Bonz!
If you don’t have a dog, you can still partake in the festivities that run from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Registration is free and you can click here to register or you can get in with proof of a Hoosier Lottery purchase (if you’re over 18). Pre-registration for the event ends Friday, October 25 at noon.
Let us know if you’ll be attending and be sure to show us pics of your pooch! Many thanks to loyal reader, Jessica Sanders for the tip on this event.
