Paranormal Programming Cancellations, Renewals and Series Orders

As summer begins, and we look back on the television season of 2013-2014, several paranormal-themed programs have shuffled off this mortal coil to join the entertainment afterlife. Of course, this means new shows will fill those slots and there are several we're looking forward to (looking at you, "Constantine" and "Dominion").

So, fire up Chopin's Funeral March and let's play these shows out:

  • "Dracula" (NBC): Ended January 24 after one season
  • "Ravenswood" (ABC Family): Ended February 4 after one season
  • "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" (ABC): Ended April 3 after one season
  • "Being Human" (Syfy): Ended April 17 after four seasons
  • "The Neighbors" (ABC): Ended April 11 after two seasons
  • "Star-Crossed" (The CW): Ended May 12 after one season
  • "Warehouse 13" (Syfy): Ended May 19 after five seasons
  • "Believe" (NBC): Ended after one season
  • "True Blood" (HBO): Will end this summer after seven seasons

And if the tears are still falling, take solace in knowing what para-shows are returning, because there is still going to be a lot of unexplained entertainment on the airwaves:

  • "American Horror Story"
  • "Beauty and the Beast"
  • "Bitten"
  • "Falling Skies"
  • "Ghost Adventures"
  • "Ghost Hunters"
  • "Grimm"
  • "Haven"
  • "In The Flesh"
  • "Lost Girl"
  • "Mountain Monsters"
  • "The Originals"
  • "Resurrection"
  • "The Returned"
  • "Sleepy Hollow"
  • "Supernatural"
  • "Teen Wolf"
  • "The Vampire Diaries"
  • "The Walking Dead"

And new para-shows to keep an eye on:
  • Angel actioner "Dominion" (Syfy)
  • Post-Rapture drama "The Leftovers" (HBO)
  • Immortal mystery "Forever" (NBC)
  • Supernatural comic book adaptation "Constantine" (NBC)
  • Fairy tale soap "Once Upon A Time" (ABC)
  • Techno-medium ghost whisperer drama "Stitchers" (ABC Family)
So, just be cool. There are still some programs to look forward to in 2014. And if there are any on this list we missed, just list us know so we can keep track of what's dead, still kicking or about to be summoned.
