Destination America Offers a Daytime Block of Ghostly Programming

Not all of us like to watch soaps and talk-shows during the daytime hours and Destination America took the initiative in offering "No Life to Live." No it's not a new parasoap! Although that would be interesting. It's a block of paraprogramming that begins on Monday, June 1 and runs 9-5 p.m. ET. The programming runs Monday through Friday for the full eight hours and will feature shows such as; "Ghost Asylum," "Amish Haunting," "Ghost Stalkers" and "A Haunting."

The full release via Destination America is available below so you can get all the spooky details...

Imagine you’re watching a scary ghost show – a terrifying one, like GHOST ASYLUM on Destination America. The lights are off. No one else is home. Then BANG! There’s a knock at the door. You hear creaking, the muffled yell of a disembodied voice, the sound of something big and heavy dragging across the floor. You weren’t expecting company at this hour. The clock strikes 12… in the afternoon and you realize it’s only the package deliveryman. You’ve been watching too much of Destination America’s new ghost-filled daytime programming block NO LIFE TO LIVE.

Who says ghost stories are just for nighttime?

Starting this June, daytime becomes playtime for fans of all things creepy with the debut of NO LIFE TO LIVE on Destination America beginning Monday, June 1 from 9am-5pm ET. Continuing weekly Monday through Friday, the daytime programming block presents eight full hours of ghostly myths and legends so chilling that even daylight can’t scare away the heebie-jeebies. Viewer favorites including GHOST ASYLUM, A HAUNTING, GHOSTLY ENCOUNTERS, and GHOSTS IN MY HOUSE deliver all the drama of typical daytime fare with demons, visions, and ghouls in place of soap operas’ divas, villains, and girls next door.

'Ghost Stalkers' Moves to New Night with All-New Episode

"Ghost Stalkers" is heading to a new night starting this Thursday, November 6 on Destination America and we have an intense sneak peek of the new episode.

In the episode airing tomorrow, November 6 at 10/9c, reports of an oppressive paranormal force lead John E.L. Tenney and Chad Lindberg to search for a manmade portal at the abandoned Holmesburg Prison in Philadelphia. Pennsylvania’s most violent and hardened convicts may have lived under lock and key at Holmesburg, but for nearly a century, rioting, assault, and murder ran rampant.

Chad believes that decades of negative energy have provided the prison with a perfect storm of dark, paranormal activity. But for John, the prison embodies the personal hell he faced during his near death experience. Over the course of two nights, they set out alone to explore the mysteries inside Holmesburg. One of them might not make it out.

'Ghost Stalkers' Capture Ghostly Figure on Camera

Last night on "Ghost Stalkers," some pretty amazing evidence was captured and we'd like you to take a look and share your thoughts. John E.L. Tenney and Chad Lindberg investigated the abandoned Old Taylor Memorial Hospital in Hawkinsville, Georgia, and after getting an already decent amount of paranormal activity, they ended up with what potentially could be the "Holy Grail" for paranormal investigators. Is it one of the shadow people that have been seen at the hospital? According to Tenney, this looks like a solid human form that reflects light rather than absorbs it.

Check out the video below and let us know your thoughts. "Ghost Stalkers" airs on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on Destination America.

From Destination America and Nick Groff from "Ghost Adventures" comes a brand new series that asks that age-old question, "What happens after you die?" Actor Chad Lindberg and paranormal researcher and author, John E. L. Tenney search for these answers about the afterlife in "Ghost Stalkers." The series premieres Sunday, October 19 at 10 p.m. ET and is a part of Destination America's week long "Ghostober." The full details about the new series as well as Ghostober, are revealed via the press release below.

Press Release:
Near-death experiences may be the closest we ever come to knowing what exists on the “other side.” Many of those who have seen the proverbial white light say they returned to life with a sudden sensitivity to the spirit world, and it’s believed that people who are sensitive enough can glimpse through and even enter places – portals – that bridge our realm with the hereafter. In the all-new series "Ghost Stalkers," produced exclusively for Destination America by Ghost Adventures’ Nick Groff, two men who crossed over investigate the afterlife that they encountered for a brief, eye-opening moment by exploring American locations that are rumored to house doorways to another dimension. The six-episode first season of "Ghost Stalkers" premieres Sunday, October 19 at 10/9c as part of Destination America’s week-long Ghostober stunt, which also includes an all-new episode of "Alaska Monsters" on Friday, October 17 at 9/8c followed by the one-hour special "Killing Bigfoot" at 10/9c.
