'Cabin Fever' Reboot Gets its First Official Trailer

In 2002, Eli Roth infected us gore hounds with Cabin Fever and since then, I've always been weary of shaving my legs. But that's another horror story. Now, 14 years later, in this day of remakes, IFC Midnight and director, Travis Zariwny bring us his very close interpretation of that all-too-familiar "doomed teens boning in a woodland cabin" scenario.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, the Cabin Fever reboot will hit Los Angeles and NYC theaters as well as On Demand on February 12. A trailer has just been released and it looks a lot like the original with some modern touches. I for one hope there are some scenes where selfies with the infected are posted to Instagram. Bloody fingers crossed! The film features Gage Golightly, Matthew Daddario, and Nadine Crocker.

Synopsis

IFC Midnight Releases Official Trailer for 'Witching & Bitching'

We're pretty sure this might be the weirdest trailer you'll see all day and if it's not, please let us know. From IFC Midnight comes the official trailer for Alex de la Iglesia's latest film, gloriously titled, "Witching & Bitching." The film stars Hugo Silva and Mario Casas and features a gilded Jesus, a toy soldier and a delightful coven of witches.

When a bank heist in the city doesn't all go according to plan, José and Tony find themselves in possession of some hostages and speeding through the mountains of Spain, hoping to quietly slip over the border. Not wanting to give up his custody days to his ex-wife, José has also brought his son along, for both the robbery and the ride. Little do they know that this is only the beginning of their troubles. When they decide to make a stop in a small tavern in the Basque countryside, the group encounters a series of local wackos. Falling victim to a mysterious spell, they soon find themselves the honored guests of a fractured family of witches who are preparing for an ancient ritual. More colorful characters begin to enter the picture, including a pair of hapless cops hot on the trail, a defecting vixen witch and José's controlling ex-wife, and the situation spirals further out of control, heading towards a jaw-dropping climax.
