Rob Zombie and Mila Kunis Team For New Starz Horror-Comedy, 'Trapped'

Another horror-comedy series is coming to Starz and this time, it involves a Zombie. Deadline is reporting that rocker and one of my favorite film makers, Rob Zombie, is teaming up with Mila Kunis and her Orchard Productions for a new horrody called, "Trapped." Zombie, who will also direct, promised on his Facebook page that, "Me and my pal Mila have some crazy shit planned."

The series, which was created and written by Joey Slamon, will occur, "...over a single night in the home of a wealthy family under attack by a murderous cult." Fun! Will it have that same edge that Zombie delivers in his films? Will some of his famous squad members appear? (Sorry, this "squad" term seems to be the new trend.)

No casting news is out or when it will air but we wanted you to get excited for this new series. We'll keep you posted.

In the meantime, Rob Zombie's, 31, is due out next year. Here's the plot summary:

On October 30, 1975, five carnival workers were kidnapped and held hostage until the following night (Halloween), where they are put in a compound. They’re told that they are there to take part in a game named “31” where the goal is to survive past the next 12 hours. This is made difficult by the fact that they are not alone; a violent gang of evil clowns are there and stalking their every move.

'Jupiter Ascending' International Trailer

There is no doubt some huge summer blockbusters on tap for 2014 so the box office competition is pretty stiff. Many of the big films coming out are sequels or a reboot, but we're thinking you might want to add the sci-fi adventure "Jupiter Ascending" to your list. Directed and written by the sibling team of Andy and Lana Wachowski, the film stars Mila Kunis as "Jupiter Jones" who has the earthly job of cleaning houses but is, in fact, marked to be the next Queen of the Universe. Channing Tatum (who rocks guyliner quite nicely) is "Caine," an ex-military dude who is hired to hunt Jupiter down. The film also stars Sean Bean, so for the ticket price alone, it'll be worth it to see if Bean's character survives!

After the synopsis, courtesy of Collider, check out the Japanese trailer (after the jump) and let us know if "Jupiter Ascending" will be on your must-see summer blockbuster list. It hits theaters in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on July 18th.
