True Blood renewed for Seventh Season

Looks like the fangers are returning for another year of bloodletting. In a new press release, HBO announced True Blood will be back in the Summer of 2014 for a seventh season.

Thanks for strong ratings and creator Allan Ball at the helm, HBO renewed the series and it will continue to air in that coveted Sunday night spot.

According to HBO programming president Michael Lombardo, True Blood "remains a signature show for HBO, and a true phenomenon with our viewers. Thanks to Brian Buckner and his talented team, the show continues to be a thrill ride like nothing else on TV."

Are you surprised that it’s returning for another season? Have you been enjoying Season Six so far? Don’t forget, you can read our weekly recaps here at Paranormal Pop Culture.
