Trailer and Premiere Date for 'From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series' Released

Robert Rodriguez is bringing a retelling of the 1996 cult classic "From Dusk Till Dawn" to the small screen. In an interview with critics at the TCA press tour, Rodriguez stated that “The film was the short story, this series is the novel.” The show's format will follow the Gecko brothers, Seth and Richie, for one full day from dusk until dawn.

The new TV series boasts a fantastic cast, with stars D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Wilmer Valderrama, Don Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, Jake Busey, Lane Garrison, Eiza Gonzalez and Jesse Garcia. The crew is just as incredible as the cast, featuring Rodriguez as director and Greg Nicotero overseeing the makeup.

The show will premiere on Rodriguez's newly launched television network, El Rey, which is an English language channel for Latinos. El Rey is featured on Time Warner Cable, DirecTV and Comcast, and you can catch the premiere of "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" on March 11, 2014 at 9 p.m. Until then, enjoy the trailer!
