New 'Left 4 Dead 2' campaign announced; playable at San Diego Comic-Con
For those of you lucky enough to be attending this year's San Diego Comic-Con International, I hate you. But my hate doesn't prevent me from at least passing along some tasty zombie news.
Valve Corporation will be debuting the second of five campaigns that will be part of Left 4 Dead 2, the zombie survival video game sequel hitting this fall. After showing off "The Parish" campaign in the New Orleans French Quarter at the E3 Expo, this second one will be called "Swamp Fever." (And to the right here you can see a sneak peek of the marshy monsters.)
And yes, you'll get to play it, you lucky so-and-sos.
According to Valve, the game will be playable in the EA Gaming Lounge Presented by Xbox 360 from 2-9 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, and 12 noon -5 p.m. on Sunday. The EA Gaming Lounge will be located in the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter Hotel, 401 K. Street.
So go on, Comic-Con attendees, go eat your heart out. Just don't let it get eaten out of you.
