From ghost to gourmand: Meaghan Rath of 'Being Human' is cookin' at Le Cordon Bleu

Meaghan Rath's day job as ghost Sally on Syfy's Being Human is pretty tough. She has to wear the same wardrobe most of the time, the set is fitted with "Sally-ized" furniture that looks soft but is actually hard and ungiving, and she is rarely able to touch her costars.

But worst of all is the fact that she is never allowed to eat. That might explain why an on-hiatus Rath is living it up in the kitchen, getting her fill of flavors at the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts – Hollywood.

The actress recently visited the college to prepare a three-course meal that met her dairy-free, gluten-free diet. The dishes she prepared included savory winter pumpkin soup – with Butternut, Acorn and Kabocha squash - Filet Tenderloin au Poivre and Classic Sabayon.

Not only does Rath look like she's having fun cooking up the dishes (and she is definitely the sexiest ghostly gourmand we've seen), but they look so good that if we were costars Sam Huntington and Sam Witwer, we'd be begging the writers to develop a plot where Meaghan is able to do a little cooking in the show. But the guys should definitely have to do the dishes afterwards.

Being Human airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Syfy.
