'Haunting in Connecticut 2' heads to DVD ... fast



The based-on-a-true-story chiller, Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia was released in limited theaters on Feb. 1. It didn’t do very well and Rotten Tomatoes calculated an 18% "rotten" rating.

But if you're upset you missed, it have no fear. In a very fast turn around from theaters to disc, the film will be available for purchase on April 16 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment.

So goes the official synopsis: "Building on the terror of The Haunting in Connecticut, this horrifying tale traces a young family's nightmarish descent into a centuries-old Southern hell."

The film stars Abigail Spencer (Mad Men), Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill), Katee Sackhoff (TV's Battlestar Galactica), Emily Alyn Lind (TV's Revenge) and Cicely Tyson (Alex Cross).

The DVD and Blu-ray will containing special features that include: Audio Commentary with Director Tom Elkins, Writer David Coggeshall and Co-Producer Brad Kessell; "Seeing Ghosts: The True Story of the Wyricks" featurette; Deleted Scenes with Optional Commentary with Director Tom Elkins; and, a Blooper Reel.
