Walking Dead Escape shambles into Philly this weekend

It’s a big weekend in Philadelphia for fans of not only The Walking Dead but also folks who want to
immerse themselves into a real life zombie apocalypse situation via a very cool obstacle course. Robert Kirkman himself said, "Our fans have been reading about it, watching it live, and now they get to live it." Are you brave enough?

The Walking Dead Escape invades the Philly area this Sunday, April 21 from 2-7 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center Complex.  This event was a hit last year at San Diego Comic Con and will be featured there this year as well on July 19 and 20.

A few elements of the faux apocalypse course include: the "Evacuation Zone," where you have to break through the zombies and start your run; the "Herd Highway" which includes not only car traffic but zombie traffic you have to survive; and, "Hospital Hell" where you can channel your inner Rick Grimes and navigate your way out of a horrifying medical center.

Tickets to be a zombie for this weekend’s event are sold out but Survivor tickets are still available for $78.

Let us know if you’ll be attending this weekend. We’d love to know if you survive!
