Celebrity Ghost Stories
The first-person narrative and reenactment show Celebrity Ghost Stories kicks off its fifth season June 1 at 9 p.m. ET and includes appearances by George Wendt (Cheers); Vegas performer, Wayne Newton; and Ace Frehley, former lead guitarist for the band KISS.
Wendt relives a terrifying night in a cottage haunted by Native Americans and bootleggers; Newton gets paid a visit by his buddy Elvis; and Frehley’s estate is inhabited by a vengeful spirit who puts the female residents in peril.
According to the press release, other haunted guest stars scheduled for Season Five include: Marlee Matlin (The West Wing, The L Word ), Max Adler (Glee), Diane Farr (Numb3rs, Rescue Me), Carolyn Hennesy (True Blood), Jai Rodriguez (Queer Eye for the Straight Guy), Jillian Barbarie (Fox Sports), and Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs).
Meanwhile, The Haunting of... begins its second season at 10 p.m. ET on June 1. The series follows psychic Kim Russo’s interactions with celebrities whose lives have been forever changed by supernatural experiences. Their journey with Kim includes reliving the event by returning to the site of the trauma and sometimes helping to reconnect with lost loved ones.
The press release reveals that the Season 2 premiere features Barry Bostwick (Spin City, Rocky Horror Picture Show). Bostwick returns to a farmhouse in Rockland County, NY, where he once lived and supposedly shared with a ghost. According to BIO, "Barry and Kim come face to face with the spirit activity that haunts the home, forcing Barry to resolve the personal issues that continue to haunt him to this day."
Other celebrities who will share their experiences with Kim Russo include: Nadine Velazquez (Flight, My Name is Earl), Elisabeth Rohm (Law & Order, Angel), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, Revolution), Jay Thomas (Cheers, Murphy Brown), Tito Ortiz (MMA Champion), Kristen Renton (Sons of Anarchy), and Bernie Kopell (The Love Boat).
