Marvel's 'Ant-Man' Gets Earlier Release Date

Entertainment Weekly has recently confirmed that Marvel's "Ant-Man" will be hitting theaters a bit earlier than expected. The film, which is co-written and directed by Edgar Wright ("The Worlds End"), was initially set to be released on November 6, 2015 however, Disney decided to bump the release to July 31, 2015.

The change in release dates guarantees a superhero blockbuster summer; with "Avengers: Age of Ultron" set for a May 1, 2015 and Zack Snyder's sequel to "Man of Steel," "Batman vs. Superman," set to be released on July 17, 2015.

For those who are unfamiliar with "Ant-Man," the story revolves around bio-chemist, Dr. Hank Pym, who can manipulate his own subatomic particles to alter his size and communicate with, and control, insects.
