New Photos and Trailer from WGN's 'Salem'

EW's first look at Shane West as 'John Alden' 

If you enjoy television shows about witches, fret not, for there are more heading your way. Premiering in the spring on WGN is "Salem" and thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we can get a look at two of the lead characters.

Created by Brannon Braga and Adam Simon, the show is set in 17th century Massachusetts, and attempts to discover the truth behind the infamous Witch Trials.

"Salem" stars Janet Montgomery, Shane West, Seth Gabel, Ashley Madekwe, Tamzin Merchant, and Elise Eberle. EW has provided an exclusive look at Shane West, who plays John Alden, who is described as a “hardened war veteran." Alden is also the onetime love interest of Montgomery’s Mary Sibley, Salem's “powerful enchantress.”
