Cheers to the Unofficial 'Game of Thrones' Wines of Westeros

We have official "Game of Thrones" beer but since there is so much wine drinking on the show, we were wondering why there isn't GoT-themed wine. Well now there is but it's fan-made side project by Common Ventures and "unofficial." But who cares? They took the initiative and Cersei and Tyrion can revel in the 12 different temptations based on the houses/groups in the George R. R. Martin novels/HBO show.

Here is the description from the "official" Wines of Westeros site:

A mind needs wine as a sword needs a whetstone. Whether it’s a bottle from beyond the wall or a case from the cellars of the Iron Bank, keep your mind fit for the death of summer with the lion’s share of vino. Have a wench fetch a goblet, reject all wedding invitations and settle down for a long, harsh winter.

12 houses. 12 temptations. Where does your loyalty lie?

The wines include Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, and Merlot and are named: The Arryn; The Stark; The Greyjoy; The Baratheon; The Dothraki; The Lannister; The Wildling; The Tyrell; The White Walker; The Martell; The Night's Watch; and The Targaryen. For example, The Dothraki 2014 Merlot is described as, "Born to fight and die in the saddle, the word thank-you does not exist. Filled with the desire of the Great Stallion, this wine will fuel your animal instincts and help you woo your Khaleesi."

Cases are available for pre-order, so grab your flagon of The White Walker and toast to the "God of Tits and Wine." Cheers!
