'Exorcism: Live!' Headlines Destination America's Fall Paranormal Programming

Destination America is encouraging their viewers to surround yourself with friends, family, pets...whatever you can but, "Don't watch alone!" The next few weeks are amped-up with paranormal programming, including a two-hour special event featuring psychic medium, Chip Coffey in the first-ever live televised exorcism in U.S. history.

The frightful fall season kicks off with the return of the hit series GHOST ASYLUM on Friday, October 16 at 9/8c, following the Tennessee Wraith Chasers (TWC) ghost-hunting team as they as they investigate supernatural activity in America’s haunted abandoned locations that only the bravest dare to enter. The following week, TWC takes on the biggest and most dangerous challenge of their lives as they join world-renowned psychic medium Chip Coffey in a two-hour special event, EXORCISM: LIVE, on Friday, October 30 at 9/8c. The first-ever live televised exorcism in U.S. history will revisit the story and the frightening house that inspired the iconic movie The Exorcist. No one has ever attempted to rid the lurking spirits and demons that inhabit this home, until now.

Destination America Offers a Daytime Block of Ghostly Programming

Not all of us like to watch soaps and talk-shows during the daytime hours and Destination America took the initiative in offering "No Life to Live." No it's not a new parasoap! Although that would be interesting. It's a block of paraprogramming that begins on Monday, June 1 and runs 9-5 p.m. ET. The programming runs Monday through Friday for the full eight hours and will feature shows such as; "Ghost Asylum," "Amish Haunting," "Ghost Stalkers" and "A Haunting."

Starting this June, daytime becomes playtime for fans of all things creepy with the debut of NO LIFE TO LIVE on Destination America beginning Monday, June 1 from 9am-5pm ET. Continuing weekly Monday through Friday, the daytime programming block presents eight full hours of ghostly myths and legends so chilling that even daylight can’t scare away the heebie-jeebies. Viewer favorites including GHOST ASYLUM, A HAUNTING, GHOSTLY ENCOUNTERS, and GHOSTS IN MY HOUSE deliver all the drama of typical daytime fare with demons, visions, and ghouls in place of soap operas’ divas, villains, and girls next door.

Destination America recently announced a new sweepstakes that gives one winner the chance to appear in a spine-tingling role in the upcoming seventh season of "A Haunting." Fans have until February 28th to enter and the episode would tape this spring and air this fall as part of Destination America’s Halloween programming.

'A Haunting' Returns To Destination America

This Sunday at 10 p.m., Destination America's "A Haunting" returns to showcase supernatural activity and to freak the hell out of viewers.

In the sixth season premiere, Stephanie Winters and her husband have been hearing noises and objects moving in their new Manassas, VA, house. When they ignore the activity -- which never works -- they rely on a paranormal investigator. But instead of your Average Joe ghost, the investigator suspects that a demon was conjured by an admirer of Stephanie to wreak havoc and seek revenge. Talk about a hell of a rejection!
