Funko Launches 'Game of Thrones' Amazon Exclusive Pop! Bundle

If you're a fan of "Game of Thrones" you know what happens this Sunday...finally! To honor the realm, Funko is launching Amazon Exclusive Pop! Bundles featuring themed items from the HBO® fantasy series.

They announced, "The 'Game of Thrones' Amazon Exclusive Pop! Bundles, available for pre-order now to celebrate the highly anticipated Season 4 debut of the series, April 6 on HBO, are packaged in two variations based on two of the HBO series' most popular characters: Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen." The bundles retail for $29.99 and will be available on May 31.

Amazon Making "Cryptozoological Erotica" as Elusive as Bigfoot

Erotic romance novels have been around for quite some time, and in this age of technology, more accessible than ever via ebook downloads. One would think that all of the stories have been told already, however there is a growing niche in the world of erotica; cryptozoology and the paranormal. However, a number of ebook retailers, most notably Amazon, is cracking down on their work and making it extremely difficult for them to sell their stories.

'Zombieland' Amazon series canceled

Zombieland was initially meant to be a TV show , then it gained life as a movie franchise, but hope for a sequel died and then the TV show was reanimated as an Amazon series ... and now that, too, is undead.

Co-creator Rhett Reese tweeted last night that "Our Zombieland  series will not be moving forward on Amazon. Sad for everyone involved."

Reese and Paul Wernick co-wrote the 2009 movie and the Amazon series pilot which became available online for free viewing less than a month ago. The idea of the Amazon pilot was that fan support would lead to a series pick-up. And to be fair, the series averaged 3 1/2 out of five stars from more than five thousand reviews.

'Zombieland' show creators: 'Our zombies are infected humans ... not undead'

Have you had your passport stamped in Zombieland yet? While not exactly the happiest place on earth, it might be one of the more talked about new show projects right now. The pilot, now showing for free over at Amazon Instant Video, spins off of the 2009 blockbuster hit starring Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg and Emma Stone. And as is well known by now, that movie was initially intended to be a pilot in of itself before it was instead adapted for the big screen.

But now Zombieland is back on the small(er) screen and, though it has generated a lot of buzz, it is facing the inevitable comparison to the movie that sort of spawned it. The characters are the same, but the actors different, but the gore is still there. And the chances of the show's survival (meaning a full season pick-up) depend on the streaming numbers and feedback from the viewing public. This strategy, of a show living or dying from fan engagement, continues an interesting non-zombie apocalyptic scenario that Netflix has already profited from: What happens when TV networks are really unnecessary to create TV?
