Tasty New 'Sharknado: Go Shark Yourself' App Available on iTunes

In anticipation of the sequel to last summer's hit from The Asylum, "Sharknado," iPhone users can head on over to the iTunes App Store and get a free download of the new Sharknado: Go Shark Yourself app. The app was updated on July 6 and allows you to share your pics with friends and even with Syfy. "Sharknado 2: The Second One" airs on Syfy this July 30 at 9 p.m. ET.

Go Shark Yourself puts you straight into Sharknado 2, Syfy's sequel to the cult classic, Sharknado (airing July 30 at 9/8c on Syfy). With four different Shark Cams to choose from, this is perfect survival preparation for the upcoming Sharknado.

Use the app to:
• Get trapped in the subway with a shark
• Defend your loved ones from shark attacks with a chainsaw
• Enjoy the view from inside a shark's mouth

YEAH! Streaming Movie Service Offers Complimentary Movie: 1984's 'A Nightmare on Elm Street'

Back in December, we highlighted the launch of AMC's new iPad streaming movie service, YEAH! The app is available in the iTunes store and described as "the first fully-immersive movie experience available on the iPad making for a rich and highly interactive movie-viewing experience for celebrated films."

Sounds cool, right? Well, we have some great news for horror fans. According to a recent announcement, movie fans will have the opportunity to test drive the new YEAH! iPad app from AMC Networks with the release of YEAH!’s Special Features Version of the original "A Nightmare on Elm Street." This is completely free and the "...complimentary film is available to all iPad users and includes YEAH!’s full interactive experience with new interviews, intimate stories, quizzes and polls while you watch."

The offer will be available for viewing now through February 28. Be sure to let us know if you're planning to try it out or already have! Even Wes Craven lauded the service by saying, “I learned things about my movies even I didn’t know!”
