Water Cooler 'Walking Dead': The Most Talked About Scene

There are spoilers here so if you didn't watch "The Walking Dead"'s season four mid-season premiere, "After," look no further.

The most talked about scene from last night's episode involved Michonne going for a stroll through the woods with some walkers. She's safe thanks to her two new pets (cronies of The Governor) but when she spies a walker that looks just like her (Bizarro World Michonne?), it triggers something in her and she chooses life. Danai Gurira discussed this scene on last night's "Talking Dead" episode and said she was only supposed to kill 8 of the 23 walkers but kept going. Greg Nicotero allowed this cathartic and powerful scene to take place. Michonne chose life in this chaotic world where she believes there is still hope despite the ugliness.

'Conan' Recap: 'The Walking Dead' Cast

If you happened to catch Conan O'Brien's show last night and are a fan of "The Walking Dead," you got a real treat. From start until finish it was quite enjoyable. Right off the bat, Conan appeared as a walker shoulder shambled in to Andy Richter's "dressing room" which Conan later described as "shitty." Oh and Greg Nicotero was responsible for Conan's very convincing makeup. Before the cast members took the stage, audiences experienced a historical first...the first lesbian zombie kiss. Andy said it was more of a gnaw but hey, it was cool! The video is below. You're welcome.

Then, Lauren Cohan and Steven Yeun took the stage and were simply adorable. Gleggie? The picture of a young Steven taken at a Medieval Times was a sight to behold. Steven also brought up that maybe Glenn and Daryl could have a romance when they "fall" on each other during a run? Maybe in Season Seven?

Later, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride and Danai Gurira joined the panel (Andrew Lincoln was ill and couldn't make the trip). They shared their thoughts on how they would handle a zombie apocalypse. Melissa, who used to work as a casting agent, said she really doesn't ponder such a thing because it's unrealistic. Danai said to get a katana. Lauren would just hide and watch TV. Oh and by the way, Norman is totally down with a Daryl/Glenn romance.

They also replayed the truly hilarious video of Norman feigning that he doesn't know how to use a crossbow. Apparently some fans don't know he was faking...which is hard to comprehend. The clip is included for your viewing pleasure.

How about a twofer for Walking Dead fans today? With all the crazy stuff happening this year, this is still the season of Michonne and The Governor. The two characters have brought so much to the table, along with some astounding scripts, that TWD is better than it has ever been.

Well, we've been lucky enough to catch up with Danai Gurira and David Morrissey, who play the characters, and we wanted to pass along their thoughts about joining AMC's zombie drama.

First up is an interview with the duo before the season premiere as they look forward to having fans see their take on Robert Kirkman's characters. Then there is a video interview at New York Comic Con, where they discuss settling into a spot on smash TV show.

Danai Gurira talks about getting sharp for 'Walking Dead'

Today AMC released an interview with Danai Gurira, who plays fan-favorite character Michonne on season three of The Walking Dead.

Gurira talks about her kick-ass katanas, and she talks about the month of training she underwent to learn how to wield the weapons - and wield them, she shall. Perhaps giving Norman Reedus' Daryl a run for his money on the cool scale, Gurira is going to hack and slash through a lot of zombies (and a few living humans?) this season.

The season three premiere is Oct. 14, but in the meantime, check out the video after the jump...
