One way to get your kids to eat their veggies is to show them this "Sesame Street" Avengers: Age of Ultron parody. In "Aveggies: Age of Bon Bon," Onion Man, Captain Americauliflower, Dr. Brownie, Black Bean Widow, Mighty Corn, and Zuchin-eye help to defeat the evil Bon Bon and keep him from ruining the healthy veggies on this planet.
Seeing Cookie Monster turn into a big, green Hulk and having him bust on Zuchin-eye (Yes, he does do something!) were some highlights.
So, enjoy it yourself or share it with your kids and then eat your veggies. Oh and check out Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron this weekend. It opens on May 1.
The monster is blue and full of errors... Sesame Street is still teaching kids to count but this time it's chairs. In this six minute "Game of Thrones" parody, "Game of Chairs" we get to see the monsters dressed as mommy and daddy's favorite characters from the HBO series and it's adorable. From Ned to Joffrey to even a dragon, Jesteros is looking for a new ruler and winter is coming.
The Game of Chairs will determine who will be king or queen of Jesteros. Four players will march around three chairs while music plays until one remains. Who will take the crown in this game of musical chairs? Robb, Cersie, Joffrey, Daeneyrus or….?

This peek at Thursday's "Word on the Street" lesson on the meaning of "plan" sure doesn't suck thanks to "Sesame Street"'s latest guest star! Rutina Wesley, "Tara" from "True Blood," stopped by and joined Elmo and Abby for this quick bite. So if Abby gets bitten by a vampire does that make her a fairy-vamp like in the series?
Wesley told Entertainment Weekly that "...acting with puppets 'was new for me. It’s a lot of fun, but sometimes you don’t know quite who to talk to. Do I talk to the puppet, or do I talk to the person?'" She also revealed that Elmo was her favorite "Sesame Street" character. Abby was not pleased.
EW also managed to sneak some of the behind-the-scenes conversations...
Elmo: “Can we be on the show?” Wesley: “I’ll see what I can do. Let’s exchange numbers.” Abby: “I’m allergic to blood. Is that a problem?” Wesley: “It might be.” Joey Mazzarino, Sesame Street writer-director (who clearly knows his True Blood): “Abby, there’s synthetic blood. It’s like lactose-free milk.” Abby: “The word is ‘coagulate.’” Elmo: “CO-AG-U-LATE” Abby: “Or ‘clot.’” Elmo: “That’s gross.”

Is it possible for Benedict Cumberbatch to be any cooler? We didn't think so but his appearance on "Sesame Street" just elevated his status a bit when he asked Count von Count for a little counting advice. Khan-ting advice? Sorry, just being a little Smaug there.
Murray Monster adorably refers to him as "Benedict Sherlock" and we think he should stick with this name. What are your favorite Cumberbatch roles? Or could you just close your eyes and listen to him speak all day no matter what role he plays?
Salacious headline aside, the folks over at Sesame Street (in an attempt to still seem hip and make amends for axing the Katy Perry bit?) goof a little on True Blood with a bit about rhyming called "True Mud."
In the embedded clip below, a felt Sookie meets a felt Bill in Merlotte's (not made of felt) where he orders not blood, not spud, not even bud - but mud. After all, Bill is a mud-sucking Grouch! In the background, there are a couple muppet cameos of other TB characters, but Billy and Sook get the most time here.
Of course, this is a blatant gift to the parents of Sesame Street kiddies - unless the next important tip on Children's Television Workshop is how to hack parental controls to find the best softcore TV-MA programming (fingers crossed!)
One final question, where was Count Von Count for this bit? There were zero - ZERO! - Counts in this sketch, ha-ha-ha...
