This season of Ryan Murphy's "American Horror Story: Freak Show" gets better with each episode, so prepare to be dazzled when some new faces show up under the big top. TV Line announced yesterday that Neil Patrick Harris, along with his husband David Burtka, will be guest starring in this season of the dark, FX drama.
Harris will be appearing as a chameleon salesman in episodes 11 and 12, with Burtka showing up in episode 13 to bring a little steamy action to Elsa Mars. While it is absolutely thrilling that Harris and Burtka will be guest starring, my excitement shot through the roof upon learning a familiar face was being resurrected.
Lily Rabe will be returning to the American Horror Story realm as Sister Mary Eunice of Asylum. According to Entertainment Weekly, "The reason for Sister Mary’s return involves Pepper (Naomi Grossman) and how she ended up going from the freak show to Asylum‘s titular institution, Briarcliff. Rabe’s appearance will be on AHS‘ 10th episode, which is their big winter cliffhanger."
So come one, come all and enjoy the rest of the season on FX, Wednesday's at 10 p.m. ET. Wir Sind Alle Freaks!

So who will be embarking on one of the coolest jobs they'll ever have? Here's part of the announcement:
Crystal Clarke is an American actress studying in Glasgow, UK, who has both stage and screen acting experience and is soon to be seen in her first feature, The Moon and the Sun (to be released in 2015). British actor Pip Andersen is a skilled practitioner of parkour, a discipline that involves propelling oneself through any given environment with incredible grace and agility. Pip recently demonstrated this remarkable skill in a Spider-Man ad for Sony.
Producer and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, commented on the new additions to the family, “The Star Wars universe has always been about discovering and nurturing young talent and in casting Episode VII we wanted to remain absolutely faithful to this tradition. Based on characters from the DC Comics classic, "Gotham" is a drama that will explore the origins of future Commissioner James Gordon, an adolescent Bruce Wayne and the infamous villains of Gotham city.
"We see Detective Gordon, before he's a commissioner, all the characters you know, Bruce Wayne, the Penguin, all of them. It's Gotham teetering on the edge, and we see what makes these characters become who they are, [like] Catwoman. It's an operatic soap that has a slightly larger-than-life quality to it," Fox chairman Kevin Reilly stated.
McKenzie is the first member to be cast in the series, which is currently in the process of being written. Stay tuned for all the latest right here!

'Star Wars: Episode VII' Casting Call News
![]() |
| Courtesy stagebuddy.com |
The call was a generic announcement looking for someone to play “Rachel,” who is a young woman 17-18 years-old, and also a character called “Thomas,” who is aged 19-23 years old.
Rachel “was quite young when she lost her parents, with no other family, she was forced to make her way in a tough, dangerous town. Now, 17 she has become street smart and strong. She is able to take care of herself using humor and guts to get by. Always a survivor, never a victim, she remains hopeful that she can move away from this harsh existence to a better life. She is always thinking of what she can do to move ahead.”
Thomas “has grown up without a father’s influence. Without the model of being a man, he doesn’t have the strongest sense of himself. He can appreciate the absurdities in life and understand you can’t take life too seriously.”
Do you think you fit the role of either Rachel or Thomas? Your video can be submitted through the casting web site but additional auditions are being held in U.S. cities including Chicago; Nashville; Austin, Texas; and Troy, Mich.
Shooting for the film is scheduled to begin in spring 2014 at Pinewood Studios in London and the film is scheduled to be released December 18, 2015.
The film is now being penned by director J.J. Abrams and “Star Wars” veteran Lawrence Kasdan. They are replacing “Toy Story 3″-writer Michael Arndt, who was originally hired to pen the project.

New show seeking ghost hunters to strand in haunted house
![]() |
| A PA producer is on board with the show. Courtesy Paramount |
Created by the producer behind Paranormal Activity (presumably Oren Peli) and Ping Pong Productions (the production company behind paranormal series Destination Truth, Finding Bigfoot, Chasing UFOs, The Othersiders and The Supernaturalist), the show is seeking groups of three believers in the paranormal for the haunted week. To be considered, trios must send a photo of the three of you, your names, ages, location, and relation to one another to GhostTVshow@gmail.com
The official word is that the show is looking for non-believers, skeptics and believers, but our sources say it's better to have more of a believer approach within the group. In your email, say where you stand. Also, a co-ed group is highly recommended.
Oh, and as an added incentive, the cast gets paid for the show.
