The film stars Tom Hardy ("The Dark Knight Rises," "Inception") as Max Rockatansky, Charlize Theron (“Prometheus”) as Imperator Furiosa, Nicholas Hoult (“X-Men: First Class”) as Nux, Hugh Keays-Byrne as Immortan Joe, and Nathan Jones as Rictus Erectus.
Here's the synopsis via IMDB:
A apocalyptic story set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and most everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. There's Max, a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. New Trailer Released for 'Annabelle'
Plot details are pretty scarce so check out the trailer and see what you can glean from the glimpse. It doesn't look too pleasant but when you're dealing with possession and a creepy doll, unpleasantness comes with the territory. Oh and by the way, "The Conjuring" is in the works to be back for a sequel in 2015.

USA Today reveals, "The director can't say exactly how the relationship between the two superheroes evolves, 'but suffice it to say there is a 'v' in between their names' in the movie title, Snyder says. He explains that having the "v" instead of 'vs.' is a way 'to keep it from being a straight 'versus' movie, even in the most subtle way.'"
Snyder also understands why fans are so excited for the film, "You can talk all you want about other superhero movies, but it's Batman and Superman, let's just be honest. I don't know how you get bigger than that."

The belt looks different, the "S" may or may not be slightly altered (read: smaller) and well, his hair is less fluffy (he is standing in the rain). Methinks he's a tad buffer as well. Let us know what you think and if you're pumped for the film like Snyder thinks you should be!

'Godzilla' Dominates the Box Office and a Sequel is in the Works
Deadline mentions that "Edwards has talked about what he would do with a sequel, saying he would use the same kind of restraint that he did for this one. He learned well from watching Spielberg films as the monster was only talked about for the first part of this film." We're obviously unsure which monsters will rise up to fight Godzilla and when the film will be in theaters, but we'll keep you posted.

'Constantine,' 'The Flash' and 'iZombie' Have Been Officially Ordered to Series
"Constantine" centers on John Constantine, an enigmatic and irreverent con man-turned-reluctant supernatural detective who is thrust into the role of defending us against dark forces from beyond. The pilot will be written by Daniel Cerone, who penned the original story with David S. Goyer.
"The Flash," a spin-off of the popular "Arrow," is based on characters by DC Comics and centers around scientist Barry Allen, who is given the power of super speed through a freak accident, which transforms him into the Fastest Man Alive. Grant Guston stars as Barry Allen, with DC Entertainment CCO Geoff Johns, Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti, also of "Arrow," executive producing the series.
"iZombie" is a supernatural crime procedural that centers on a med student-turned-zombie who takes a job in the coroner’s office to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat to maintain her humanity. But with each brain she consumes, she inherits the corpse’s memories, and with the help of her medical examiner boss and a police detective, she solves homicide cases in order to quiet the disturbing voices in her head. Based off of the 2010 DC Vertigo Imprint comic by Michael Allred and Chris Roberson, the show will star Rose McIver as main character Liv.

Warner Bros. Acquires Rights to Robert Downey Jr.'s 'Cloaked'

Though Connolly and Team Downey came up with a concept before the big pitch, details on the plot remain under wraps. Though not much is known about "Cloaked" at the moment, Deadline states that it is "a supernatural horror comedy in the vein of "An American Werewolf In London."
No word on Robert Downey Jr. playing any roles in the film, but fans can expect to see plenty of him on the big screen when he steps back into the Tony Stark/Iron Man role in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and the first Team Downey/Warner Bros. project, "The Judge."

Monster vs Monster in New 'Godzilla' Trailer
Wait...was that Rodan flying by that window? The action, destruction, pain and suffering, and overall awesomeness of the beasts, yes, beasts, is staggering. And the trailer seems to confirm that Gojira will be released to battle another monster threat! "God help us all."
Enough said, just watch and then run to theaters on May 16.

Zack Snyder to Direct 'Justice League' Film

The "Justice League" script is currently in development and it is expected that Henry Cavill will return as Superman, Ben Affleck will reprise his role Batman and Gal Gadot will play Wonder Woman. There is no release date but the film will most likely not be in theaters before 2018. Based on Marvel's track record, they should really step it up. There is no definite word on what other Justice Leaguers will join their three friends, but Green Lantern, Aquaman and Flash obviously can't be ruled out. The "Superman vs. Batman" film recently added Ray Fisher as "Cyborg" so he may appear as well.
Regarding a Wonder Woman spin-off, the WSJ mentioned that "Warner executives said they are warm to the idea" and president of worldwide marketing, Sue Kroll, reveals, “That is our hope. With the right script, that could be viable. The world is ready for her.”

Three New Cast Members Join Zack Snyder's 'Man of Steel' Sequel

The film's director, Zack Snyder, commented on the casting:
“Holly has always been one of my favorite actresses; she has immense talent and is always captivating on screen. I had an opportunity to meet her a while back and knew instantly that I had to work with her, so as we began writing the script I made sure to create a role specifically for her.
“I just had the good fortune to work with Callan on ‘300: Rise of an Empire’ and was very impressed with his incredible talent,” the director continued. “He’s a fantastic actor and I’m looking forward to having the chance to work with him again. And, quite simply, Tao is a striking presence whose beauty is aptly rivaled by her amazing abilities as an actress. I’m really excited to have her joining us on this adventure.”
Hunter, Mulvey and Okamoto join fellow cast members who include; Henry Cavill who will return to star as Superman/Clark Kent, Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince. Other recent casting includes Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and “Man of Steel” stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
May 6, 2016 is the target date for the film's release.

Three Megamovies Planned for J.K. Rowling's 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'
The recent announcement came when The New York Times did a profile on Warner Bros. CEO, Kevin Tsujihara and he confirmed that the film franchise will indeed be a trilogy. Initially lauding Mr. Tsujihara's success and magic touch, they wrote:
Wherever he learned the skill, his deft touch became clear to Hollywood’s creative community last September. That is when Warner announced that Ms. Rowling had agreed to adapt for the big screen her “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” a 2001 book billed as one of Harry Potter’s Hogwarts textbooks. Three megamovies are planned. The main character will be a “magizoologist” named Newt Scamander. The stories, neither prequels or sequels, will start in New York about seven decades before the arrival of Mr. Potter and his pals.
Convincing the famously independent Ms. Rowling to dive back into film was a coup. “When I say he made ‘Fantastic Beasts’ happen, it isn’t P.R.-speak but the literal truth,” Ms. Rowling said in response to emailed questions. “We had one dinner, a follow-up telephone call, and then I got out the rough draft that I’d thought was going to be an interesting bit of memorabilia for my kids and started rewriting!” She added, “When Kevin got the top job, he brought a new energy, which rubbed off. He’s a very engaging person, thoughtful and funny.”
There is no word on when the first film will appear but we'll keep you up-to-date on any news surrounding this exciting project.

The CW Reveals First Look at Grant Gustin as 'The Flash'
Production begins next week on The CW’s new pilot "The Flash" but today we get a look at his costume designed by Three-Time Academy Award® Winner, Colleen Atwood. From Warner Bros. Television and based on the DC Comics character, the series is being executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and David Nutter (all of "Arrow"). David Nutter is directing from a script by Berlanti & Kreisberg & DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer, Geoff Johns. The show stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen and The Flash.
Details from the release reveal that, "The costume for The Flash was designed by three-time Oscar® winner Colleen Atwood, who also designed the costume for 'Arrow' and whose motion picture credits include Academy Awards® for her work on 'Alice in Wonderland,' 'Memoirs of a Geisha' and 'Chicago,' as well as seven additional Oscar® nominations for films such as 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street' and 'Sleepy Hollow,' among others."

Fox's "Gotham" Casts Alfred Pennyworth, the Penguin and More!

According to the Hollywood Reporter, The Penguin is described as "having the brains of a chess grandmaster and the morals of a jackal who is a low-level psychopath for gangster Fish Mooney who hides his sadistic lust for power behind an exquisitely polite demeanor." Taylor is the first actor to step into the role since Danny DeVito in "Batman Returns" was released in 1992.
Sean Pertwee, son of third Doctor Jon Pertwee, will be playing the "tough as nails ex-Marine from East London," that was a loyal family servant turned fierce protector of the orphaned Bruce Wayne. Pertwee will be joining actors such as Michael Caine, Alan Napier and Michael Gough, who have also portrayed the beloved Pennyworth.
Zabryna Guevara is also joining the cast as Det. Gordon's boss, Captain Essen. Erin Richards rounds out the latest casting news as Barbara Kean, Det. Gordon's fiancee and gifted ER doctor.During the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, Fox chairman Kevin Reilly said that Batman fans can absolutely expect to see their favorite characters on the screen, stating "This is not one of the things where you bought a franchise and then none of characters people know, we will follow Bruce Wayne right up until the point where he gets interesting[...]This is all of the classic Batman characters."
The pilot was written by Bruno Heller ("Rome," "The Mentalist") and will be directed by Danny Cannon ("Nikita," "CSI"), with the pair co-executive producing. So far there is no word on when production will begin, but stay tuned and we will keep you posted!

Fox's "Gotham" Casts Detective Gordon

Based on characters from the DC Comics classic, "Gotham" is a drama that will explore the origins of future Commissioner James Gordon, an adolescent Bruce Wayne and the infamous villains of Gotham city.
"We see Detective Gordon, before he's a commissioner, all the characters you know, Bruce Wayne, the Penguin, all of them. It's Gotham teetering on the edge, and we see what makes these characters become who they are, [like] Catwoman. It's an operatic soap that has a slightly larger-than-life quality to it," Fox chairman Kevin Reilly stated.
McKenzie is the first member to be cast in the series, which is currently in the process of being written. Stay tuned for all the latest right here!

DC Comics' "DMZ" Heading to the Small Screen
Warner Bros TV has recently sealed a deal with Syfy to bring DC Comics' "DMZ" to television. The adaptation, which is currently in development with Syfy, will be executive produced by David Heyman ("Gravity") and Andre & Maria Jacquemetton ("Mad Men"), with the Jacquemettons penning the series as well.According to Deadline, "'DMZ' is set in the near future and centers on a young man trapped in Manhattan, which has been turned into a demilitarized zone (DMZ) after a second American civil war." Launched by DC Entertainment's Vertigo imprint in 2005, the comic book was created by Riccardo Burchielli and Brian Wood, and ended after 72 issues in 2012.
The project comes from Warner Horizon, Warner Bros. TV's cable division, in conjunction with Heyday Films and Slim Chance Productions.

Fox's 'Gotham' to Feature Classic Characters
Fox's new drama "Gotham" just got a little more interesting. Originally described as an origin story of Commissioner James Gordon, it seems as if things have changed.Initially, the show had little to do with Bruce Wayne, but Fox Chairman Kevin Reilly revealed some new twists during an interview at the Television Critics Association press tour. Not only will audiences be getting a healthy dose of the future hero of Gotham, they will also be getting insight into the villains as well.

'Harry Potter' Gearing Up to Hit the Stage
Bust out your wands, "Harry Potter" fans, because author J.K. Rowling is ready to take us back into the world of witchcraft and wizardry. Rowling recently took to her Facebook page and announced that she will be co-producing a play with Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender about "The Boy Who Lived" and his time before Hogwarts. According to the statement released on her Facebook:What was it like to be the boy in the cupboard under the stairs? This brand new play, which will be developed for the UK theatre, will explore the previously untold story of Harry's early years as an orphan and outcast. Featuring some of our favourite characters from the Harry Potter books, this new work will offer a unique insight into the heart and mind of the now legendary young wizard. A seemingly ordinary boy, but one for whom Destiny has plans...Over the years I have received countless approaches about turning Harry Potter into a theatrical production, but Sonia and Colin’s vision was the only one that really made sense to me, and which had the sensitivity, intensity and intimacy I thought appropriate for bringing Harry's story to the stage. After a year in gestation it is exciting to see this project moving on to the next phase. I’d like to thank Warner Bros. for their continuing support in this project.
Rowling will not be writing the script, unfortunately, though the team is looking for writers and directors to continue the beloved story of young Harry. The project is expected to move into development in 2014.

'Godzilla' Teaser Rampages Onto The Web
Legendary Pictures has finally released the teaser trailer for next summer's, "Godzilla" and well, it looks huge. Watch the trailer and let us know if you're looking forward to seeing this "spectacular adventure" that will be in theaters May 16, 2014.

Jason Momoa Joining 'Batman vs. Superman' Film?

While it is currently unclear as to what role Momoa would be playing, there is a little speculation that narrows it down. First up is Justice League member, the Martian Manhunter, who is a super-powered alien that is trapped on planet Earth. However, it has been long rumored that the films villain would be Doomsday, a scientifically engineered Kryptonian killing machine. Doomsday infamously "killed" Superman back in 1992, and his appearance was even hinted at in the extras on "Man of Steel" Blu-ray.
Known for roles that showcase his beefy physique, such as Khal Drogo ("Game of Thrones") and Conan ("Conan the Barbarian"), Momoa could fill either role quite well.
Neither Snyder or Warner Bros. had any comments on this news at the moment.

The eerie overlay of the words of "father of the atomic bomb," J.Robert Oppenheimer, set against the massive destruction the giant fire lizard has unleashed, shows the grand scale of this Gareth Edwards-directed film.
The film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, Juliette Binoche, and David Strathairn. The screenplay is by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont, and Dave Callaham. A Warner Bros. presentation, "Godzilla" is scheduled to be released in theaters, May 16, 2014.
