Where are the freaks? I'm getting bored.
Hold tight, the wait is almost over. October 8 is around the corner and a brand new 60-second trailer featuring real footage from "American Horror Story: Freak Show" has just been released. We get to go behind the scenes of Fraulein Elsa Mars' Cabinet of Curiosities and her collection is quite impressive. From a two-headed Dot and Bette to Pepper the Pinhead to the world's smallest lady in a birdcage, "Let's hope they start bringing in some paying customers."
Oh and we get our first look at Twisty the Clown in action. He's super murdery...just as we expected. Your ticket gets ripped on Wednesday, October 8 at 10 p.m. on FX. Best part? The episode will be 90-minutes long.
American Horror Story: Freak Show begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience.

'Sleepy Hollow' Recap: 'The Kindred'
![]() |
Courtesy Fox |
Last week on "Sleepy Hollow," Abbie was released from Purgatory, Jenny was saved from Henry, Ichabod escaped from the coffin and after all that, Katrina remained lost. Let's do this.
Abraham is ready to seal to Katrina in every way possible so goes for the blood tie first with a little help from Henry and his flaming sword. Oh, wait, it's just Ichabod dreaming again, now convinced Abraham will stop at nothing to make Katrina his. Yeah, that's great and all but I have a meeting with the new sheriff so later gator. Sheriff Reyes comes across as a competent hard-ass which is great except this is nothing like the drug cartels. Oh, and she knew Abbie's mom. This will go one of two ways: her by-the-book manner will scuttle every action or her double-agent gig will.
Having deduced Abraham's base of operations on this dimensional plane, it's time for a little 'come to Jesus' talk during the drive; are we still focused on Moloch's master plan? If so then why are we chasing Katrina? Well, she's a witch of extraordinary power, can tip the scales either way in this war, blah blah blah. Oh, And Ichabod still loves her. Okay, we're here, now where are they? You guys really think hiding in the bushes means Abraham doesn't know you're there? Very well then, I'll leave you to your delusions. Yes, Ichabod, she's there but down boy! You need to strategize first.
USPS To Release Batman Forever Stamps in Time For NYCC
![]() |
Courtesy USPS |
According to the USPS, "This new issuance showcases eight unique designs in a sheet of 20 stamps. Four versions of the iconic DC Comics super hero are depicted from four eras of comic book history. In addition, there are four incarnations of the Bat-Signal." The stamps will be available on October 9 but you can click here to pre-order.
Here is the remainder of the press release and then check out the designs (after the jump)...
The first row of stamps features Batman with his fists clenched. This muscular, determined Caped Crusader has spent the Modern Age of Comics defending Gotham City from its most notorious villains.
The second row of stamps displays Batman dramatically staring up at the Bat-Signal. By the Bronze Age of Comics, artists had encased the super hero’s spare black bat emblem with a yellow oval. The insignia became the crime fighter’s trademark.
The third row of stamps shows Batman swooping into the frame with his cape flying behind him. The image, from the Silver Age of Comics, accentuates the super hero’s signature glowing white eyes and utility belt.
'The Strain' Recap: 'Last Rites'

Only more more week left in this season, Strainiacs! Last week Eph, Nora, Vas, and Abe chased the rats into their lair while Zack went after contraband cigarettes for Mrs. Martinez confirming that no one makes good decisions. Let's do this.
At the Stoneheart Group, Palmer's not having a good day and Eichhorst is gloating. But he has faith in the Master dammit, he made a promise! So close to your goal Eldritch and now you can't see the forest for the trees anymore. Also: you're an idiot if you think The Master will turn you. The almost-conquering heroes return to the pawn shop where Zack basically says thanks for leaving me with the crazy old lady all day dad. Abe's about ready to turn this temper tantrum up to eleven but first, he needs to commune with his pet heart.
Flashback! A young Abe asks for information about a German or odd disappearances in an Albanian village. He's tracked the strigoi there and is *this close* to his goal of confronting The Master and thus ending the scourge. Along for the hunt is his wife Miriam. We're close honey, I can sense it. The six-fingered man will pay for his crimes. Sorry, wrong movie. Anyways dear, I'll be back by sundown.
Chris Pratt Was MARVEL-ous in this Skit From the SNL Season Premiere

Pratt as Leia (screen shot) |
I would totally see "Fancy Ghosts" and hell yes I would see "Pam" and its sequel. I'm no too excited about "Bus People" though..."Ant-Man" either for that matter. Regardless, Chris Pratt dressed as Princess Leia was worth the watch.
Check it out below and let us know what you thought of Pratt's gig and the 40th anniversary episode, in general.

New Mermaid Film, 'Charlotte's Song' Gets a Creepy Trailer
What little girl doesn't want to be a mermaid? Case in point, Ariel is beautiful, has a great voice and eventually scores the handsome prince. Stupid fairy tale.
Hans Christian Andersen wrote the story "The Little Mermaid" in 1837 but it had a much darker tone than what Disney produced. Capturing that darker essence is the upcoming Nicholas Humphries-directed, "Charlotte's Song" and a trailer has just been released. Adding to the creepiness of the tale (tail?), is the casting of that torturous bastard, Ramsay Snow from "Game of Thrones," aka Iwan Rheon (Randall). The film also stars, Katelyn Mager (Charlotte) and Jessie Fraser (Emily). It's been way too long since we've seen a film about a mermaid. Flippers crossed this one delivers next Spring.
After the synopsis, check out the trailer and let us know what you think. Both are courtesy of Dread Central...
Think "Pan’s Labyrinth" meets “Carnivale” – gritty human drama with a supernatural twist, situated in the 1930s Oklahoma Dust Bowl. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Mermaid, Charlotte’s Song tells the story of Charlotte, a young girl coming of age in the midst of one of the most desolate and desperate periods in American history.
The untimely death of her mother triggers a downward spiral for her father, five sisters, and their family-run song and dance act. Help comes from an unlikely source when a gangster named Randall offers to pay off their debt in exchange for making some unsavory changes to the family business. Matters are complicated when it is discovered that Charlotte, like her mother before her, is in fact a mermaid capable of controlling humans with her voice.
What follows is a sophisticated magical turf war in which antagonists from many camps seek to take advantage of Charlotte’s power. The best and worst of humanity are put on display, and Charlotte must choose her own path, knowing that the wrong decision will have deadly consequences for the people she loves.

Nicholas Cage Was Once an Overnight Guest in Dracula's Castle

According to his co-star, Idris Elba, Cage admitted to him that he spent the night in the notorious Romanian domain to "channel the energy." Elba was quoted as saying, "We were shooting in Romania, Transylvania, and he just went up there to spend the night, as you do. And then he walked away. True story.” Apparently it didn't work that well since the film wasn't much of a hit.

'Bad Lip Reading' Takes on Season Four of 'The Walking Dead'
A new Bad Lip Reading for "The Walking Dead" has just hit and it certainly makes season four's grimness a little lighter. Check it out if only to hear Hershel reveal to Carl that, "There's always a little roach in my Slenderman undies." Beth also sings a lovely tune about how Mr. Potato head likes to punch her. Speaking of singing, Carl is pretty kick ass at rapping. Must be all that puddin' he ate?

New Funko 'Game of Thrones' Legacy Collection Figures Coming in October
The "Game of Thrones" Legacy Collection debuted this year at the New York Toy Fair and became "one of the most talked about Funko lines of 2014." Thanks to its popularity, Funko is continuing the collection by adding six new characters to the series. Not only do they look cool but each figure "...will feature 20+ points of articulation and include removable accessories."
The first wave included: The Hound; Tyrion Lannister; Jon Snow; a White Walker; Ned Stark; and, an earlier version of Daenerys Targaryen. This wave includes a more commanding Daenerys Targaryen along with her deceased love, Khal Drogo. Joining Dany and Drogo are, Jaime Lannister; Arya Stark; Brienne of Tarth; and, the King in the North, Robb Stark.
The latest series will be available for purchase in October. Which characters would you like to see if they make a third series? My votes are for Cersei and Hodor. Check out the figures next to their numbered boxes, after the jump...

'Sleepy Hollow' Recap: 'This Is War'
![]() |
Courtesy Fox |
When we last left Sleepy Hollow, Katrina had been freed but recaptured by Headless, Abbie was stuck in purgatory having traded herself to free Katrina which worked out incredibly well, Captain Irving was in jail, and Ichabod was buried by his son Henry Parrish/Jeremy Crane who had kidnapped Jenny and has major daddy issues (thanks Moloch!). Everyone ready? Let's do this.
Ichabod is remarkably calm for being buried alive when he 'wakes up' and Abbie has a cupcake for him. Happy Birthday! Let me guess, you didn't blow out candles 250 years ago either. No time to party though, we got ourselves a case! More people missing their heads but what does the Horseman want with a history professor's research on Ben Franklin? Good think Ichie's here, seeing as he was Ben's apprentice and whatnot. Wait, what? He finds the hidden drawer with the hidden files when Headless bursts into the room wielding...machine guns? Well, we just up and went 21st century here, now didn't we? Crazed by rage, Ichie will stop at nothing to get to him but focus man. He has my wife! Well he has my sister. Fine, it's a draw.
'The Strain' Recap: 'The Third Rail'

Last week on "The Strain," Kelly joined Matt in Undeath 'til they do part. Alas, they were parted. Poor Matt, he couldn't catch a break in life or undeath. Dutch headed out on her own and Abe has had it with all of them. Let's do this.
In the basement of the Pawnshop of Horrors, it's model building time. Trying to rig up a UV light bomb to take out The Master is proving difficult but Vasiliy might have solved the strobing problem with the addition of a fog machine. Even the undead like to party you know. Upstairs, Mama Martinez is freaking out so Nora has two crazy people to deal with, only one of which she's fairly certain loves her.
Gus! The guy has had a really, really rough night but it ain't over yet hon. Returning home, he finds brother Crispin turned and as useless in undeath as he was in life if how glued he was to the TV is any indication. Gus is all, hell no! Im'ma take out all my rage on your sorry vampire ass. Now, where's Mom?
Meet 'Twisty the Clown' From 'American Horror Story: Freak Show' Plus New Teaser
![]() |
Screenshot from "Twisted Swinger" teaser |
During a visit to the set in New Orleans, show creator, Ryan Murphy, provided some ominous hints at what's in store for the season, right off the bat:
“We said in the writer’s room that if we were going to do clowns, we were going to create the most terrifying clown of all time. That was our goal when we were writing him, but I’m worried about people being too afraid of our clown. It’s heart-stopping what he does. I’m worried. I’m worried that people are going to have cardiac arrests… The clown’s intro in the first episode is … even I was terrified of it. It’s brutal. Two crew members told me they have had nightmares about this clown since we started shooting and they’re not even scared of clowns. I think he’s pretty extraordinary because, when you see why he’s a clown and why he’s wearing the mask … just you wait.”

Charles Dance Hints at 'Game of Thrones' Character Return
![]() |
Courtesy HBO |
It went a little something like this, "I'm not completely missing out on the next series...so, you haven't seen the last of Tywin Lannister..."
So what could it be? Clearly a flashback scene is possible even though there are not many in the HBO series. We did see Khal Drogo in that one heart-wrenching scene with Daenerys and their unborn child. Over the summer, WinterisComing.net revealed a bit of info regarding the casting of a young Cersei Lannister in the next season. This would make a Tywin appearance very plausible. What are your thoughts and speculations on the return of Tywin? Maybe Tywin's ghost will haunt Tyrion when he is on the throne? Maybe not.

Behind the Scenes of 'Epic Ink'- 'Friday the 13th'
![]() |
A few months ago, Deanna Uutela, creator of Living Dead Magazine, friend and boss, approached me to be a part of a new tattoo reality tv show. "Epic Ink," centers around Area 51 Tattoo, where shop owner/Captain, Chris 51, has made an inked nerd oasis in the small town of Springfield, Oregon. Naturally, she said, that I was the first person that sprang to mind when they requested a paranormal themed piece, as I am the "paranormal expert" for Living Dead Magazine. When Harold Ramis passed away, I wanted to get a memorial tattoo of him as Dr. Egon Spengler, which was perfect.
I went to the Area 51 website to check out their artists, because getting a portrait tattoo requires a seriously talented artist. While browsing through each artists portfolio, my eyes nearly exploded out of their sockets. These guys (and gal, Heather Maranda!) are like the X-Men of tattoo artists: EFFING BAD ASS. They are also part of an elite group of artists worldwide, that are licensed by LucasFilm. However, there was no question in my mind as to who would be tattooing me. None. Chris Jones was my dude. He eeked out the others because he actually had a "Ghostbusters" piece in his portfolio, so I knew what his Egon looked like and I needed it. Unfortunately, we don't always get what we want and my original idea wasn't going to be able to air on the network. Serious case of the sads. After tossing around a few ideas, since I thought it had to be paranormal in theme, I was asked if I had any other ideas for a piece...something I had been wanting for awhile. Why, yes I did!

The Burr Steers-directed and co-written film begins filming on September 24 and will also star Lily James, Sam Riley, Jack Huston, Bella Heathcote and Douglas Booth. THR sums up the horror-comedy, "The movie is a horror-comedy spin on Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The heroine, Liz Bennett (James), is pressured by her family to marry into a wealthy upper-class home but chafes at the stiff social mores of Victorian England. Instead, she feels that she should help defend the countryside against the onslaught of a horrifying zombie plague."
We'll keep you posted on any new details including when it'll hit theaters next year.

'The Strain' Recap: 'Loved Ones'
![]() |
Courtesy FX |
Last week ON "The Strain," the infection struck close to home while Eph made terrible relationship choices. Let's do this.
Incredibly bored, Zach starts playing around with the merchandise in Abe's pawn shop. Nothing seems to work but he finds a laptop with a very weak signal so what does he do? Play 'find my phone' to track down Kelly. Okay, y'all have a super-hacker in residence and it takes a kid to think of this? I weep for humanity. Miracle of miracles, he gets a location hit. Eph, the package is on the move. Grab your weapons and Go! Go! Go! But first, Eph needs to justify why he has to go after Kelly. Nora, please grow some balls. Any requests while I'm out? Yes, I'd like a cheeseburger, a new iPhone 6 and oh yeah, my mother please. While Eph plays Colombo, Abe, Dutch and Vasily plot strategy which is limited to infiltrating The Stoneheart Group to bring the internet back. Way to prioritize guys.
With the location of Kelly's phone in hand, Eph finds her phone....with a homeless lady. It's okay ma'am, he's not a cop. He's a "doctor." Oh, will you look at my leg? If you tell me where you found this phone. Deal. Really Eph? Bartering your skills for information? For shame. He finds Kelly's car unlocked and with a bloody rag in it. Let's be honest; things don't look good for the former Mrs. Goodweather.

The Ouija Files: Joan Rivers' Spirit Board Encounter
Can we talk? The Joan Rivers catchphrase is especially poignant for one figure in the paranormal community in the days following the comedian's death.
Robert Murch is the foremost expert on Ouija Boards, and serves as a consultant on multiple film projects concerning the use of the (in)famous talking boards -- including the upcoming movie based on the Hasbro product. For more than 20 years, Murch has researched the history of Ouija and collected thousands of the boards. He has also exhaustively documented its use in popular culture, and chronicled how it has gone from alleged spirit communication device to its current reputation of portal for dark forces.
Which brings us to Joan Rivers, who had a hell of a sharp wit even if she wasn't a force from hell.
Rivers used a glow-in-the-dark Ouija board in the second season of her WE tv series Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? In the February 2012 episode ("Joan Pulls A Beaver"), the two consult the board, and a psychic, about Melissa's love life.
The board's appearance on Rivers' reality television show was just another chapter in Ouija history and piqued Murch's curiosity. So before attending her live show in Boston in 2013, Murch tweeted to Rivers asking if she'd sign one of his pink Ouija boards. Her management got back to him swiftly to arrange it. After some scheduling issues, Murch finally met with the comedian who apologized they hadn't connected earlier.
According to the historian, when Rivers took the board, she looked delighted and said, "Can we talk?" with a laugh.
"She then quickly added, 'Well I hope we won't be talking on this anytime soon,'" said Murch. He said she also invited him out to lunch during her next stop in Boston.
"Everyone knows Joan Rivers as a comic genius and a legend," he said. "It's all true but to me she was just a super cool and humble woman who took the time to meet with me last year and sign my pink Ouija after one of her shows."
When asked whether Murch -- who is actually a skeptic when it comes to the Ouija's supposed paranormal connection -- would ever reach out to Rivers on the board, he said, "If I was going to contact anyone on the other side it would be Joan Rivers."
Murch jokes that in the same episode they used the Ouija, Rivers recorded her voice for a GPS device and placed it in Melissa's car.
"She said, 'How fabulous; long after I'm dead I'm going to be there telling you exactly what to do' to Melissa," commented Murch. "That doesn't sound so bad since, as the straightest gay guy that's ever lived, I could certainly use her fashion advice!"

'Pepper' Will Be Part of 'American Horror Story: Freak Show'
![]() |
Courtesy Entertainment Weekly |
The cast addition was confirmed by co-creator, Ryan Murphy when he stated, “She is in this [season]." EW and Murphy go on to explain the role:
Pepper is one of the members of the titular group of entertainers, managed by Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange). Explains Murphy, “What Elsa has done for 20 years is she goes around to hospitals and jails and rescues these ‘freak’ circus performers who are going to be shipped away to asylums and she signs the waivers and she becomes their guardians.” This season of AHS takes place in 1952, a good 12 years before the events of Asylum. So Freak Show, according to Murphy, “is sort of like what happened to Pepper before she went to the asylum.”
Murphy also says that the decision was not an easy one, “We thought about it long and hard and we decided that it was interesting to do.”
So are you excited to see the Pepper prequel? It's only right that she's part of the cast! The series premieres on FX on Wednesday, October 8 at 10 p.m. ET.

Special Edition of 'Monsters & Mysteries in America' Premieres This Friday on Destination America
Airing this Friday, September 12 at 10 p.m. ET, is a special edition of Destination America's "Monsters and Mysteries in America" called "Monsters & Mysteries: The Blackburn Files." The special, anthology edition episode will be hosted by crypto-zoologist Lyle Blackburn. Blackburn is out to prove that the unidentified monsters that seem to have immersed entire towns in fear, are more than just figments of their imaginations.
Stories featured in this special episode include:
· Lake Worth Monster – In the summer of 1969, young couples in Texas’ sleepy Lake Worth community were attacked by an aggressive, horned, hybrid monster that was half man, half goat. Though many thought the creature had disappeared, two decades later the encounters continue.
· Rake – After two 12-year-old girls recently carried out a brutal attack in the name of Slenderman, a shadowy internet-born character, the story became an instant media sensation. Who or what is this dark collector of young souls? The legend is actually quite old and continues to make its way into contemporary account. Kerrie Fargiorgio recalls her encounter with the faceless nocturnal predator also known as “The Rake.”
· Beast of Bray Road – Bar manager Lori Endrizzi will never forget the night she was driving down one of Wisconsin’s most infamous roads and came face-to-face with the half-man, half-wolf beast known as “the Beast of Bray Road.”
Tune in to Destination America this Friday, September 12 at 10 p.m. ET to see if Blackburn makes a case for the existence of these creatures.

Press Release:
Near-death experiences may be the closest we ever come to knowing what exists on the “other side.” Many of those who have seen the proverbial white light say they returned to life with a sudden sensitivity to the spirit world, and it’s believed that people who are sensitive enough can glimpse through and even enter places – portals – that bridge our realm with the hereafter. In the all-new series "Ghost Stalkers," produced exclusively for Destination America by Ghost Adventures’ Nick Groff, two men who crossed over investigate the afterlife that they encountered for a brief, eye-opening moment by exploring American locations that are rumored to house doorways to another dimension. The six-episode first season of "Ghost Stalkers" premieres Sunday, October 19 at 10/9c as part of Destination America’s week-long Ghostober stunt, which also includes an all-new episode of "Alaska Monsters" on Friday, October 17 at 9/8c followed by the one-hour special "Killing Bigfoot" at 10/9c.
'Ghostbusters 3' Love It or Leave It Alone: One Fan's Opinion
BY LARISSA MRYKALO
The summer of 1984 was pretty damn awesome for movies and as a 13-year-old movie lover (now you know my age), I was in my glory. I'm about to sound cliché here, but seeing Ghostbusters pretty much made my summer and to this day, has influenced me in some way or another. Hell, I write for a site called Paranormal Pop Culture and I'm going on a ghost hunt this weekend. I even took my son to see the theatrical re-release of this film and I cried when it began. So here's the deal, I have strong opinions on the making of a third Ghostbusters movie and based on private discussions, I'm not alone in my thinking.
The summer of 1984 was pretty damn awesome for movies and as a 13-year-old movie lover (now you know my age), I was in my glory.
The possibility of a third Ghostbusters film has been tossed around for years now and pretty much right off the bat, Bill Murray said he did not want to be a part of the film. We may never know exactly why but good for him on standing his ground. With passing of Harold Ramis (Egon) and the subsequent distancing of Ivan Reitman from the project, it looked like this film may not come to fruition. I was fine with this possibility. A third Ghostbusters is not only unnecessary in a day and age where we are bombarded with shows about "busting" ghosts, but it is not a Ghostbusters film if there is an all-new cast and premise -- it is a "ghost hunting" film. That is fine! Go for it -- good luck with people paying to see it when they could just turn on their TV for free. There is even funny ghost hunting programming out there you can enjoy if you want a laugh; case in point: Jack Black's "Ghost Ghirls."
Bill Murray Gives Suggestions For Female Cast of 'Ghostbusters 3'
In a recent interview during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Bill Murray not only discussed the film he was promoting, St. Vincent, but he also gave his cast choices for what seems to be turning into a female-centric "Ghostbusters III." Regarding the possibility of an all-female cast, Murray told the Toronto Star, “I’m fine with it. I would go to that movie, and they’d probably have better outfits, too.”
Although not involved in the project, he gave cast suggestions that included his St. Vincent co-star, Melissa McCarthy, “Melissa would be a spectacular Ghostbuster. And Kristen Wiig is so funny — God, she’s funny! I like this girl Linda Cardellini (Mad Men) a lot. And Emma Stone is funny. There are some funny girls out there.”
McCarthy was asked at TIFF how she felt about being a contender, “I think that somebody is really trying to do it, but nobody has talked to me about it. Listen, if the people I think are doing it are doing it, I must never question them.” Regarding playing a Ghostbuster, McCarthy is...scared?, “Oh, my God, that’s daunting. That’s taking on a legend, a legendary movie. But I would do anything with those ladies, anything at all.”
Bridesmaids director, Paul Feig is negotiating being the director of the third film and Dan Aykroyd revealed on The Today Show this summer that production is to begin next spring.
We'll keep you posted on any new developments. Who are your choices regarding the casting since it doesn't look like the original cast members will be playing much, if any part in the film?

Paranormal City: Chicago Con-Cast
I love chatting about the paranormal in front of a live crowd. It has never been my mission to convince others to believe or disbelieve in the unexplained, so much as I just enjoy geeking out about the stories, folklore and theories. So I've really been digging the "Paranormal City" panels I created and have been hosting at Wizard World cons lately. By assembling local personalities, we've been able to engage in fun conversation about what makes a town unique with its para-personality.
And the Chicago Paranormal City panel really nailed that. With the exceptional involvement of Dave Schrader, Chris Fleming, Ursula Bielski and Jonathan James, we spoke to a packed room about what makes the Windy City so spooky.
Take a listen and let me know what you think!

Last week was Escape from the Convenience Store and Jim grew balls right before he died. Let's do this.
Kelly's friend Diane drops Zack off at home and isn't thrilled that the house looks empty but sure kid, go on in. The place is trashed, thanks zombie-vamp Matt! Team Bread Truck pulls up as Zack fights off Matt inside. Uh, a little more urgency there Eph? Papa Bear instincts kick into overdrive and Eph smashes Matt's face in. The price is wrong, bitch. You just know that was satisfying for Eph on so many levels but oh my lands is that kid gonna need therapy. Abe goes right for the basement but Eph decrees that if Kelly is there, nothing happens to her while Zack is present. Speaking of Zack this kid is really calm. Note to self: stock up on vampire and zombie video games to prepare the kids for the coming apocalypse. Also, get the kid out of there; if Kelly's turned, she's coming right for him.
Let's check in with Felix and Gus. Yep, still in the holding cell and Felix is a lovely shade of light green. Moving on. Eph blows off the whole 'I escaped from the FBI' thing, what's more important is that I clean up the house before your mom gets home. Now Zack, get in the unmarked bread truck with the nice strangers who are all pissed off at each other for various reasons while I clean up. Yeah, you'll be doing some 'cleaning up' Eph.

'Doctor Who' Recap: 'Robot of Sherwood'

If there is one thing that "Doctor Who" is not known for, it would be comedy. Sure, there have been laughs throughout the 50 year span of the show, however a straight up funny episode hasn't graced the screens since the 1960s. Until now, that is.
"Robot of Sherwood," penned by the brilliant Mark Gatiss, begins inside the TARDIS. After being told to pick anywhere in time and space to visit, a giddy Clara tells the Doctor that she's always wanted to meet Robin Hood. Trying to dissuade her choice, the Doctor tells her that Robin Hood is just a story and she'll be disappointed. Not even the tiniest bit tempted by the Ice Warrior encampments on Mars, Clara gets her wish as the Doctor sets the TARDIS controls to Sherwood Forrest, 1190AD...ish. To the delight of Clara, and the chagrin of the Doctor, the TARDIS has landed them right next to the Earl of Locksley himself, Robin Hood. He is appears exactly as movies and storybooks have portrayed him; brash, loud and constantly laughing. The Doctor is not a fan and asks Robin if laughing has ever gotten him punched in the face.

AMC Orders Pilot for Companion Series to 'The Walking Dead'

Hopefully this means the new series will stay pretty close to the original series...or do we want something different? Not much more info has been revealed other than the fact that the pilot is scheduled for production in late 2014.
From AMC President Charlie Collier, “Almost from the beginning of 'The Walking Dead' on AMC, fans have been curious about what is going on in the zombie apocalypse in other parts of the world. In fact, beyond requests for zombie cameos, it’s the question I get asked the most. Obviously, we all take our stewardship of the original franchise incredibly seriously and we, along with Robert, Gale, David and now Dave, are all proceeding with extreme care in order to ensure that we are offering fans something truly compelling, engaging and distinct. We’re thrilled to be taking this next step with these remarkable partners.”
