MTV Releases First Clip of 'Jurassic World'

Thanks to MTV, we now get to see the first clip from Jurassic World featuring Chris Pratt in all his glorious Chris Prattiness. In this first look, he's approached by icy Bryce Dallas Howard to consult on how secure the paddocks are in the soon-to-be-opened park. Yeah, make sure those paddocks are secure because we made a new dinosaur in a test tube and that should go over well.

Check it out and let us know how excited you are to attend the park. In addition to Pratt and Howard, the Colin Trevorrow-directed film stars Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D’Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Judy Greer. It opens on June 12 in 3D.

New 'Scream' Series Will Head to MTV in October 2015

It looks like a reboot of the popular horror franchise, "Scream," will be finally heading to MTV next October. After much talk about the possibility of a series based on the Kevin Williamson/Wes Craven films, the official pilot order came last April. Now an announcement has been made by MTV that its first ten-episode season will be premiering in October 2015.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series will star Willa Fitzgerald as Emma Duvall, Bex Taylor Klaus as Audrey, John Karna as Noah Foster, Connor Weil as Will, Amadeus Serafini as Kieran Wilcox, Carlson Young as Brooke Maddox, Tracey Middendorf as Maggie and Joel Gretsch as Sheriff Clark Hudson. "Scream" director, Wes Craven will serve as executive producer, along with Harvey and Bob Weinstein, Tony DiSanto, Liz Gateley, Marianne Maddalena, Cathy Konrad and show runner Jill Blotevogel. There's no word on the exact plot yet but we're sure there will be some chasing, knives, blood and overall mayhem.

New Aubrey Plaza Zombie Film 'Life After Beth' Gets a Trailer

There's a new zombie film coming out in limited release this August 15 and MTV just released a trailer. The ZomRomCom, Life After Beth stars Aubrey Plaza ("Parks and Recreation") as newly dead and hungry, "Beth Slocum," and Dean DeHaan ("The Amazing Spider-Man 2") as her confused boyfriend. The film premiered in at Sundance last January and has received critical acclaim.

The film also stars John C. Reilly and Molly Shannon as Beth's parents, plus Cheryl Hines, Anna Kendrick and Paul Reiser.  Keeping the zombie genre fresh is key but does this fit the bill? Unlike in Warm Bodies where "R" blossoms thanks to love, it appears that Beth starts out looking all fresh after her resurrection but them turns cruddier and more violent. Ahhh relationships...they're even complicated with dead people.

'Teen Wolf' Recap: 'The Divine Move'

Welcome to the Season Finale of "Teen Wolf." Parting is such sweet sorrow. If you didn’t cry last week with the death of Allison Argent, the opening of this episode will almost certainly squeeze a tear from your cold heart. We begin just moments after Allison’s death. Her father is coaching Scott through the story he’s supposed to give the police. Scott is barely holding himself upright with the help of the fence. He finally asks Papa Argent how he is doing this. The simple reply is “It’s what we do”. When next we see Isaac and Scott, they are being interviewed by Deputy Parrish. They obediently whisper “It happened so fast” as Mr. Argent ordered.

Kira and Stiles have retreated to her parents house, where Noshiko is being rather sympathetic and helpful. She and her husband advise Stiles on the game of Go, and that the Nogitsune has had the advantage all of this time. They claim that Stiles needs a “Divine Move” to win this game, only no one is feeling divinely inspired at the moment.

Chaos, Strife, and Pain

When we last left Beacon Hills, we had two Stiles’, one missing Banshee and a whole pack of crazed wolves. Deaton is now getting uncomfortably intimate with the Twins and Isaac in the shower. Don’t worry, everyone kept their clothes on. Deaton was busily sticking his fingers down their throats to pull out the Nogitsune’s little flies and washing them down the drain. Though I am still unclear as to why this needed to be done in the shower.

Over at the McCall’s house, Scott and his mom are busy trying to figure out if they have the real Stiles’ or the evil impersonation. To this end, Stiles entreats them to bring Noshiko and her demonic smoke ninja friends over to give him the test. It would appear that he isn’t sure just how much of “our” Stiles he really is. Happily, she pronounces him “more you than Nogitsune." I guess that’s the best we're going to get.

Stiles and the Lord of the Flies

This episode picks up right where last week’s left off. Sheriff Stilinski walks up to his Nogitsune possessed son in Derek’s loft. As the two gaze solemnly at each other, the Sheriff advises that if he is really his son, he’ll put the handcuffs on. Of course, the Nogitsune does as he asks and then stares at him with his hateful eyes before breaking them easily. Allison attempts to shoot him with a taser, but it has no effect and he easily disarms her. Derek has no better luck. Finally it’s down to Argent pointing a gun at his head and the Sheriff trying to stop him from killing his son. This is of course just the type of chaos and strife that the Nogitsune loves. However, before things get much further he breaks it off as the real enemy approaches. He has manipulated them into coming to the loft to protect him from the Oni. He’s disappointed that Scott’s not there to help though. As the smoke ninjas appear, the Nogitsune backs away and lets Stiles’ friends defend him. This doesn’t go any better than it has in the past, with Derek taking a nasty swipe from an Oni katana. At this point, Scott and Kira finally arrive, but the Oni have vanished as well as Stiles.

A Fox, A Wolf, and A Katana

After reasserting control over our beloved Stiles, the Nogitsune takes us on a trip down memory lane. We are treated to a scene in 1943 where two Military Police Officers are unloading a truckload of dead Japanese-Americans into a mass grave. As they return to the truck for another load, a familiar bandage-wrapped figure rises from the bodies and stumbles toward the men. Needless to say, the Nogitsune makes short work of the two and begins riddling his own riddles.

A Stiles, A Coyote, and A Mental Ward

The nonstop crazy train that Stiles is on hasn’t slowed down one bit after Deaton poisoned the Nogitsune last week. Stiles and Sheriff Stilinski drive up to the gates of Eichen House at dusk. As they wait to be buzzed in, Scott shows up and tries to stop the Sheriff from putting his best friend into the dreary mental institution that gave us such gems as Mr. Barrow. Only Stiles tells him it’s his idea. He then breaks our hearts a little more by asking Scott to never let him leave there if they can’t get rid of the Nogitsune possessing him. Astonished, Scott just watches as the Stilinski’s enter the grounds and prepare to check in. Sadly, this doesn’t turn out to be a dream or hallucination that Stiles is having. He really is having his dad leave him in the institution. 

Only, at the last minute the Sheriff decides that he can’t leave Stiles there; he forgot his pillow. Stiles insists and is led down a long dreary hallway to his room, leaving his father standing forlornly in the entryway. Just to perk things up a bit, one of the patients hangs himself in the stairwell as they pass. Then he thinks he sees the Nogitsune among the onlookers. Oh, yeah, this is going to be a fun visit. When Stiles decides he needs to make a phone call, the nurse assures him that if he doesn’t go in his room quietly she’ll introduce him to the “five-point restraint system." His roommate is currently undergoing this experience and is strapped securely into his bed. Despite that, Oliver seems a cheerful enough fellow.

Demonic Ninjas, Dark Foxes, and Deaton...

With all of the dark forces moving through Beacon Hills lately, I know I’ve wondered where our friendly neighborhood Deaton has been. This week, we get an answer.

Do you remember the story Papa Argent told about his first encounter with the Oni and how they killed a Nogitsune right in front of him? Well, Deaton has managed to return to the scene of the crime. It seems that a particularly toxic form of lichen has grown up where the tainted blood of the Nogitsune fell. It’s called Letharia vulpira, aka wolf lichen. He pulls off a bit of trickery to gain access to the garden where it grows. According to Deaton, he can use the lichen to poison the fox hiding inside Stiles. Deaton is going to save Stiles! I’ve always liked that mysterious veterinarian.

It’s Just Stiles and His Shadow.

A terrified Stiles calls Scott in the middle of the night. Stiles thinks he’s been sleepwalking and has no idea where he is. He then begs Scott not to tell his dad and to come find him. He thinks he’s bleeding, something is wrong with his leg, he’s in a basement, and he doesn't think he’s alone.

Lydia and Aidan are in the school having a late night modeling session. Just before it gets a little naked, Lydia starts hearing Stiles voice over the radio begging for help.

A frantic Scott and Isaac rush to Stiles’ house only to meet Lydia and Aidan there. Inside, Stiles’ room looks like a scene from his dad’s office. He has red string stretched everywhere tracing unsolved cases on the walls. Sensibly, the foursome decide that they have to tell the Sheriff. Lydia and Aidan stay behind looking for clues in Stiles’ bedroom. By accident, Lydia discovers that when the red strings are plucked, she hears voices from them. They all seem to be whispering about a house, namely Eichen House. It’s the mental institution where Barrow was being held. So this shouldn't be creepy at all.

Smoke Ninjas vs Kitsune: A Tale As Old As Time

When we left Beacon Hills last week, Mr. Argent had been badly wounded in pursuit of some smoke ninja related business. While, our wolf pack and friends had faced off with the smoke ninjas at a rave. And most importantly, Stiles realized that he is the one who helped Barrow go after Kira.

After the smoke ninjas wipe the dance floor with all of the werewolves except for Scott, he decides to take Kira home on his terribly masculine dirt bike. Love and giggles are in the air. She is all glowy and not in a supernatural kind of way. Scott is also wearing a stupid grin. It gets interrupted by the twins arrival on their own motorcycles. They've assigned themselves to ‘guard Scott’ duty for the day. It’s kind of sweet, if you disregard their desperation to get into the pack. He momentarily loses them to hunt down Stiles to fill him in on what he missed the night before.

A Tale of Smoke Ninjas and Mysterious Keys

When we left Beacon Hills last week, Isaac was at the Argent’s apartment being attacked by our new dark-clad ninja types. Allison and her dad finally manage to break down the door between them and Isaac. When they finally reach the young werewolf, he is trembling on the floor with a massive case of the chills. He describes his five attackers as wearing masks and black clothing and how they just came out of the shadows. A spark of recognition flashes across Chris Argent’s face. He asks the kids to keep it quiet for 24 hours while he works on something. He comments that he thinks the creatures were after him before going to his room. He immediately opens a trunk lying there which contains a mask very like the one’s our shadowy friends were wearing. Now why would Mr. Argent have a smoke ninja outfit?

'Teen Wolf' Recap: 'Galvanize'

It’s Mischief Night in Beacon Hills. This involves toilet paper and eggs, and a lot of them. More importantly, it’s also Coach’s birthday. I've missed Coach. Stiles and Scott have a little birthday tradition of pranking on poor Coach every year. They continue this year by rigging all of his furniture to fall apart. In typical Coach fashion, he is not amused.

There are a few new faces in town today as well. A mass murderer of children is brought to the hospital for surgery. Barrow is one creepy character. Scott’s mom gets the dubious honor of doing his pre-surgical interview. She can’t help but ask him why he killed those kids. He cackles maniacally that they had glowing eyes. That’s interesting. We know a few kids with glowing eyes too. Guess what they find when they do the surgery? He has a tumor full of live flies in his stomach. It ruptures, spewing flies everywhere. As everyone screams, Barrow sits up on the operating table, and very calmly stabs the doctor with a scalpel. He then presumably traipses off with an open hole in his abdomen. Don’t worry though, Sheriff Stilinski and Scott’s dad are on the case.

'Teen Wolf' Recap: 'More Bad Than Good'

When last we left the Wolf Pack, Scott and Stiles were stumbling around in the woods. They're still there. While Scott was chasing down Malia the werecoyote, Stiles found her den complete with her old jacket and a baby doll. They call in the elder Stilinski to help with his little job performance issue. Sadly, it backfires as many of their plans do. Scott’s dad, the uber jerk, shows up with Malia’s father. Understandably, the man is upset and upon seeing his daughter’s things, he sets out to destroy this daughter-eating coyote. Ejected from the crime scene, the boys head off to school. Only Stiles took a little souvenir.

'Teen Wolf' Recap: 'Anchors'

Ah, Beacon Hills, I’ve missed you. When last we left our little Wolf Pack, they had managed to defeat The Alpha Pack and Jennifer the Evil Druid Girl, and then save their parents from being ritually sacrificed. What could possibly go wrong now? A lot I bet!

The back half of season three wastes no time introducing some major creep factor. As a new day dawns in Beacon Hills, our group of supernatural sophomores prepare to go to school after a few weeks off. They deserve it after all the ritualistic dying and having to throw down with Deucalion. Scott, Stiles, and Allison are each have disturbing side effects from their experience as virtual sacrifices. I imagine being mostly dead would cause problems for some people.

MTV Debuts 'Wolf Watch' Following Winter Premiere of 'Teen Wolf'

Not only does "Teen Wolf" return to MTV tonight at 10 p.m. ET to begin wrapping up its third season, but it will be followed by the new talk show, "Wolf Watch." An announcement that the bloody good supernatural drama series was renewed for a fourth season was made back in October at New York Comic Con. MTV also revealed that the half-hour talk show, hosted by Jill Wagner, who plays Kate Argent on the series, will air after.

According to The Hollywood Reporter's report in October, "'Wolf Watch' will offer more insight into 'Teen Wolf,' touching on topics such as its mythology, romances and bromances. Appearances by other castmembers as well as celebrity fans are expected." This follows on the heels of other wrap-up programs such as AMC's "Talking Dead."

Ke$ha Admits to Having a Haunted Nether Region

Singer-songwriter Ke$ha sat down with Jimmy Kimmel on Monday to talk about the new season of MTV's "My Crazy, Beautiful Life." Known for being a little out there, she definitely held that reputation when she revealed that her vagina is haunted.

"It's a problem. I know it sounds ridiculous but in all honesty, I believe in all this crazy stuff. So I was told I had dead people in me so I called my hypnotherapist. So then she said she had to exorcise my body and then I got a ghost meter to read it, and it just beeped, just at my vagina. It seemed to be accurate because I have been going through a dry spell and it was like beeping around and it all makes sense now."

Apparently, vagina hauntings aren't that uncommon. This past August, a man in China was arrested after he claimed that he could exorcise the spirits from a young woman's vagina with his penis. Now, you would think that she would have called the police right then, but no. He was arrested after charging the young lady over $3000 to perform the "sexorcism."

This isn't the first paranormal story that the glitter-queen herself has brought up, either. Last year when speaking with Ryan Seacrest, she revealed that she's had multiple sexual encounters with spirits. In fact, her song "Supernatural" was inspired by them. She doesn't know the spirit's name, but she doesn't seem to mind, adding that she's "very open" to being a spectre-sexual.
